Smells like urine and I saw a big RAT on one of the shelves! Bring back the cats, they kept the place rodent free and were always nice to see.

Fantastic, great middle Eastern and foreign selection of goods.
Butcher shop also well stocked and reasonably priced.

Great place where you can find lots of variety of international foods, spices, nuts, dried fruit, frozen pastries, pastas, flours, sugars and cheeses amongst other items. Simply love it! And as a bonus they sell A1 bread!:)

Was planning to shop around for some Mediterranean items to try out but there were some OH&S issues.

1. Beware some products are expired and still available on shelf.
2. Place have been infested with rodents. Eg, torn food packaging which a hole looks like an animal has bitten into it. Some area smell of strong stench of ammonia.

After experiencing these we immediately left without buying anything.

Wharehouse type set up. Lots of variety in goods. Most of what is there is middle eastern or turkish so full of unusual stuff. Reasonable staff. Not a bad place.

Love this store. Great for international spices, and grains and sweet treats etc at a fantastic price! Great to buy in bulk as well. Great range selection of gourmet cheeses, greek feta, mozzarella and cured meats and olives.

For affordable high quality foodstuffs you can't go past Basfoods. We get whatever we can here and then go to the supermarket for the rest.

Basfood is one of a hand full of places we ship regularly. Most product are priced well but not all. You will still need to shop around. It is our go-to store for bread-making ingredients, spices, nuts and nuts products. Some of their clearance items are very enticing.

Great Value For Your Money. If you have difficulty finding what you are looking for specific items. Staff there are very helpful, happy to assist and guide you to find, what you are looking for.

I'm so excited to have found this place. They have huge bags of spices, a wide range of pickles, so many cheeses and frozen pastries. All at really affordable prices. I really recommend it for some unexpected treats.

Great selection of exotic herbs and spices. Fresh fruit and veg needs to be scrutinized. Can also do with a clean. Particularly around the check outs. Love shopping there for the variety

Nice selection of Mediterranean foods, very reasonable prices, and always happy and helpful staff, You must visit them. When you're there, do your self a favour and try those amazing Greek ION chocolates, specially the one with the hazelnuts!

Great offer of products at very competitive prices. I mainly come her for the feta cheese Danish style: $5 for 800 grams!

Really good supermarket with lots of hard to find European imported foods. Some items are expensive, such as imported nuts etc.but some stuff is cheaper, so know your prices before you come.

Great prices. Great selection. So much better than the Supermarket. Just need to know what you want. Love the place.
