Barwon Heads Greengrocer reviews
13Had a smoothie and coffee. Despite being busy the service was friendly and our order was prepared in good time.
Watery tasteless acai and coffee not much better…. $30 down the drain to chuck it all in the bin. Do not bother. Go down the road to the bakery and the place next door to that. A vast difference. I really should have known better the moment I set foot in the place really…. Très ordinaire
Just wondering what time you guys actually open? Your opening times that are presented online are not accurate and I would appreciate if they could be updated. I walk past every morning and you are always closed at the times you claim to be open online. Please update!
Ordered a few smoothies from here. It was a public holiday so an extra 20%. Service was 5/10. Person was not welcoming and didn't provide any type of greeting. Smoothies were $11 each, which is on the high side. Smoothies were tasty and enjoyable. Tables were outside, good sunny spots but unfortunately dirty as no one clearing so had to do it ourselves. Lastly, rubbish bin day at the heads so we found ourselves smelling dirty rubblish bins placed right out front of cafe next to our seats. Anyway Not terrible. But they have got some work to do.
Such yummy burritos! Come back here every time we are in Barwon!
So yummy, highly recommend the veggie burrito bowl ️
Most importantly, delicious coffee!
The banana smoothie is my daughter’s favourite, they use dates for a lil something special *chefs kiss*
So many jaffles to choose from and the scallop pies are a must try!
Long wait, rude and unprofessional staff, wasted space.
Response to the response below: (the review was written about a long wait on multiple occasions - not yesterday)
There were three people working at the time - two of them arguing between each other, as I waited for coffee for 15 minutes (and I was the first in the queue), so surprised there are no more reviews like this. I don't see a problem with writing a negative review after having had a negative experience on multiple occasions. Having requested my money back (as the coffee wasn't even started) - a lady with coloured hair threw $5 cash in my direction.
A really Lovely cafe to visit, coffee was perfect! Provides Super kind, welcoming & friendly service!
I say never ever try smoothie there. I had a mango smoothie and that was the worst smoothie I ever had.
Fresh produce and good range of gluten free options. Easy going and knowledgeable staff! Will definitely be visiting again when the weather warms up
Overpriced but would not have written this review based on that. Im writing this review as I will never go to this shop again due to them having a sign saying that they would not serve anyone that lives in Melbourne when a) people from Melbourne can have good reason for being there such as care giving or working and b) THIS IS AUSTRALIA and you should be ashamed!
Mex bowls are AMAZING if your ever in the area definitely stop in here for one!
Fresh produce and the most neatest and organized Green grocer I’ve ever seen
$15 for two plain meat pies to takeaway. They were very ordinary. I will go to the bakery around the corner in future and pay $10
