Bartronica reviews
60There is disabled access via a lift, but you need to get the barman’s attention to access it.
Awesome place to have fun with friends. Lots of retro games you can't get enough of it.
Disgusting. You need to indicate in advance about 18+, and the need to have an ID. They came specially with their daughter - they didn’t let them in without proof of age.
Had a great time. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We booked the private room, and it was just what we needed.
The only drawback was a couple of the arcade machines not working properly/needing servicing.
This is a nice little place to go with friends. The arcades are fun to play with in between chats, drink prices aren't too bad and never huge lines at the bar to wait.
It is a nice bar to have a few drinks at and play some arcade games.
There isn't the biggest selection.
Review won't change until.
1. Change of attitude of the surly/rude bar person who was lecturing people to wear a mask even though they weren't. I was wearing one when I wasn't drinking (practice what you preach).
2. $14.70 for a schooner is just highway robbery, worst part is that you can taste they don't clean the beer lines.
3. No buck hunter, one of the reasons why I have been going there for the past 4 years.
Also on a side note, it looks like they have greatly reduced the amount of games available to play.
Fun venue with many games for the taking (of your dollars). Gets pretty busy come 7 on the weekend with snack offerings and semi-surly staff, it’s a great alternative to a swanky bar. Would be a fun date location too.
Great evening here, had a killer “Ice Cold Beer” from Joshua.
Excellent spot to play time crisis with a tinder date.
Great place for after work drinks or even a night out with the whole team. Shout out to Josh for being a legend on all the cocktails and handling the rest of the bar by himself the whole night, killed it.
First time and definitely won't be the last. Who doesn't love old school games, cocktails and nachos?
Great for a group or a chill date.
Hands down best bartender I've ever met!
Josh was so friendly and accommodating, being someone very picky with their cocktails he made them to perfection couldn't stop at just 1.or 5
A lot of the games have broken buttons.
Place is packed and there's barely any room to a stand.
Staff kicked us off of a table when we were in the middle of eating. We went outside to the only tables available and then another staff member came out and told us that section was closed too.
If you provide meals, provide a place to actually eat.
Really cool video themed bar. There's nearly all of the old generation consoles, nintendo, SNES, PSone, Xbox and more.
There's also pinball machines and more arcade cabinets that you can throw a barrel at.
Only complaint is that some of the machines have wonky coin slots. They all work, from what we noticed, but sometimes you'll be stuck popping the coins in over and over before it actually accepts it.
Minor complaint as. Everything else about this place just hits all the right nostalgia buttons.
A pretty cool bar packed with retro games. Quite a few unique and interesting drinks. Is a fun place to sink a few drinks and play a few games with mates. Not the kind of place to go to if your looking to sit down and have a chat with friends.
So unique and so fun! Most games for free! Great to have a few bevies and play some old skool games! Loved it
I just wish this place was bigger. I got squished so many times, but I always have a fantastic time so I don't care so much.
It's got most of what you'd want out of a barcade, I personally found the lack of shoot em ups to be a bit disappointing. Having said that, it's well set up and the booth/console set up is a great idea.
Love this place, great games and good priced beers. They have also added way more machines since last time I came and damn, the ghostbusters pinball is great!
My friend and I came for our first time and Josh helped us navigate around the venue. He also recommended a good drink, was super friendly and helpful.
Best bar. Played all the old childhood faves and had some mad cocktails thanks to the suggestion of Josh, the bartender. Thanks for a great night out to all involved.
