Huge thanks to the team at Barry Plant, Ghizlaine and Aaron. Ghizlaine from the moment you stepped in the door you were honest and open, you instilled confidence in us and the system that had been previously broken leaving us confused and dissapointed. We had a team of professionals come through with note pads, cameras and keen eyes. Special mention to Nikolah interiors who shuffled their days and helped us out with some incredible staging and made the process so smooth.

Communication was always clear and we felt our home was in good hands, always professional with a warm smile. Ultimately selling was the main outcome, however Ghizlaine you made this journey smooth, with a fantastic result, considering this is one of the most stressful experiences you can have in life you were confident and throughout made us feel we were in good hands, even when the weather worked against us. Special mention to our amazing auctioner Bill, who spoke about what has been our home so fittingly.

Where do I begin this review,

1. Typical real estate agent. Underquotes to buyers and over quotes to sellers.
2. Our house was poorly marketed for sale at the beginning.

End result was a disappointing sales price.

Why Real estate agent Mr Phong Ho tricked and misled us?
1] He asked us ‘fly from Perth to Melbourne’
2] we hired a car and staying in the hotel for 7 days.
2] We have spend $4500 in 7 days approximately in order to signed the promised contract and in order to purchase the promised property. What we didn’t know was that we were misled and tricked by Mr phong Ho.

Mr Phong Ho tricked and misled us systematically and used us as a bargaining tool in order for his preferred chosen clients to Purchase. 46 Dunfermline Avenue, Greenvale, Vic 3059] Or Perhaps the buyer paid him the side commission on the top of what the sellers has to pay to Mr phong Ho.

It is certainly obvious that “The property market is extremely hot and beyond reach for almost most citizens in Victoria. In Victoria it is getting worse and worse than NSW and ACT day by day and most real estate agents are not honest and are not functioning effectively. And sure there are so many other factors to explore too when it comes honesty and fairness. However, some real estate agents are doing whatever in order to make extra money on the side too with tricks and misleading practices. Although, some real estate agents are extremely decent and honest too, regrettably Mr Phong Ho is not in that crowd as per our first hand experienced.

I have followed up with Mr Phong hi manager and This is a reply to his manager too.

Thank you so much for your note. And certainly we have moved on with our lives, we are going back to Perth WA.

All we wanted to let you and other relevant authorities know is that your organisation staff and stakeholders are NOT professionally and ethically trained, perhaps Mr Phong is not aware of the relevant legal ramifications of what he did to us, by tricking and misleading us, He should not be engaged in such a practice by tricking other innocent clients as he did cheated us.

I have made this point very clear to your when I spoke to you on the phone. However, we do seek compensation for [ our trip from WA to VIc] and the immense frustration Mr Phong caused us.

Make sure you get everything in writing especially if dealing with Ghizlaine. I had a horrible experience with Barry Plant, will never use them again

Prior issues were acknowledged and attended to. Only issue I had was that we tried to add my brother to the lease, and we didn't get a response for almost 6 months, this was the reason for my frustration and negative review, which i have since amended. Friendly staff have been very proactive and helpful over the last 6 months which I do appreciate.

Terrible customer service and their threatening emails sent are unbelievable. To add they are sending emails when it isn't necessary as the place I rent at has new management so they are still sending threatening emails for money when they don't even manage the property no more. I messaged and called about this but obviously no one has taken the initiative to do anything about it.

I have been immensely pleased with the professionalism and an aptitude for honest salesmanship from Ghizlaine Digby. She is an absolute asset to the Barry Plant Gladstone Park team. I would most certainly recommend Ghizlaine to buy/sell a property in this area.

Dear reader,

I had been in an agreement with the barry plant. They are good at what they are doing; providing good service to the renters and rental providers.

What bothers me about their service is their lack of courtesy in notifying the renter about end of their agreement with the landlord and lack of response to the renters about any queries; this is what they did to us atleast, i guess (international students, not citizens nor permanent visa holders) they might not treat rest the same, i assume (though it might not had been intentional, It is still not good, it made us disappointed)

Dear renters, if you are no longer associated with them they might care a little to none regarding your queries or any help that u might need post your agreement end. The receiptionist would lift the call and would say the property manager will call u back. And guess what, come days, come weeks, come months they wont. They are busy with their business.

They were not even sorry, when i asked them about the reason why we were not notified about the end of the term (no call, no email, no nothing).

Nevertheless, they are worth trying, I wish you a happy service with them. Cheers

What can I say about Ghislaine Digby……. She’s the Million dollar baby…. So professional and understanding, even during the lockdown she managed to get a fantastic result for my home…I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Barry Plant and the magnificent team at Gladstone Park.
