Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door reviews
71 Wonderful gem. Found it while showing some relatives around the area. We didn't have a booking (would recommend as it does get busy) however, the team were kind enough to accommodate us and we were well looked after.
Excellent food, ambience, and a hospitable team.
Great location for lunch. Small food menu but delicious. Wines from the estate complimented very well. We're glad we went there
Dark, moody and cozy cellar door. Lots of options for wine tasting, starting at $10 per person for their base range of wines. The restaurant is light and airy with a beautiful view of the surrounding vines.
Modern dining area but with extensive glass and polished concrete floors the sound tends to bounce around. No quiet conversation possible.
Food was ok, I had fish which was a little overcooked for me. My companion had the brisket which was thoroughly enjoyed.
Wine was pleasant.
Very good service from the wait staff which lifted the impression of the venue.
The grounds are extremely pleasant with a lovely deck to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
Food was fantastic a very innovative menu.
We had the lobster with prawn, pork lion and for mains the wild caught barramundi and the 12 hr slow cooked lamb shoulder. All excellent
Fantastic service, including wine less than $200
Enjoyed a nice pleasant lunch here. Agree with a previous review that flavours don’t quite stack up to presentation. Fine dining presentation but flavours not quite there. Had the pork loin for entree & it tasted re-heated. Noticed lovely big wood heater, shame it wasn’t lighting.
Loved having our tasting flight by the fire. The restaurant has a great view over their pinot vines.
Host was friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be going back soon.
Lunch visited. Courses from 65$~.
Highly recommended.
Great winery view from the restaurant and very fancy atmosphere. The service was outstanding and delicious.
There are two or three courses meal you can choose. We chose two courses which were $65/ person. Also ordered a bowl of salad for sharing as well as coffee after meal. The salad was fresh it was like just harvest from field.
Great atmosphere. Fantastic food and the wine was most enjoyable.
A wider selection of beers would be a recommendation but of course you can't please everyone
Entree and main were both excellent. The staff were most helpful with finding us a table when we had no booking. The table service was exceptional. Thanks for a great experience.
My family and I came here a while ago and it was amazing! Amazing customer service, we did wine tasting and then had dinner and had the three course meal. The food was amazing and they gave us complimentary oysters which was lovely, we ended up buying two bottles of wine it was that good. Highly recommend and will come again
Super friendly front-of-house team, and tasty dishes, but heavily let down by being:
1. Way over-priced. A far better dining experience can be had for considerably less at many of Melbourne's top eateries.
2. Indoor dining is super noisy. Definitely not the venue if you wish to have a chat with your fellow diners. Polished concrete floors and minimal soft furnishings make conversing a nightmare. After an hour, I had to get out.
Only used the cellar door area but was well received by staff. Restaurant looks terrific. Will go there for sure.
Well presented good in a lovely relaxed setting. Beef and slow cooked lamb did the job. Flavours did not match the excellent presentation. Croquettes and salad were on point. Wines equally nice. $70ish for 2 courses. $90ish for 3. Wines $12-$22 by the glass.
The food was excellent. The staff were courteous and timely in delivering the food and follow up with drinks Thank you. I will come again.
Lovely room, great staff and awesome food. Thank you very much. Our group of 14 had a wonderful lunch.
Celebrated my Mother's 80th Birthday with family.such a fabulous memory to have I come from a Hospitality background and I could not fault anything Friendly Helpful Staff, delicious food and wine Strongly Recommend.we look forward to our return
Really not happy with how the staff treated us. We came for a family members birthday party, me and my partner weren't that hungry so we were only going to order a 2 course for both of us to share, the staff told us that we couldn't do it and that they were very hostile. We had to order 2 x 2 course meals and it was way to much food. I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be coming back.
I was disappointed as their website and hoarding says they do breakfast but only got there and learnt that they have stopped breakfast menu
Overall fantastic service and food, especially service by Chloe. Would have been a 5 star if the blue swimmer crab and king prawn crab cakes had more seafood flavour and less herb flavour. The stracietlla and tomatoe salad, and the chefs special seafood chowder were perfection. Good wine, good value, recommend.
