Barkly Gardens reviews
56Outstanding playground! War memorial & gardens. Great scenic walking (with dog). Good adequate toilets.
Love our Bartley gardens. Great park for the kids and families. With BBQ facilities.swings.pet area.
Amazing place next to my work for a quick walk. Its quite small but I love the trees makes me feel like I'm not in the city anymore.
Nice big area of kids for a stop or for a picnic. Off leash dog park is nice too if you like that. I don't like dogs but most people are responsible so its not a problem.
An inviting space and up to date kids area's. Toilets are in process of a much needed upgrade.
Less unsupervised dogs running thru children's play areas would make this an awesome local gem. You cannot safely play ball with your kids as unsupervised dogs chase your ball & in our case bit one of our kids trying to get the ball. Owners couldn't care less. Total disgrace.
It was quite good and my 8 and 6 year old were entertained for a while so I always use that as a a guide.
Beautiful old garden in the heart of Richmond. Close to East Richmond Railway Station and Swan St. There's also a playground and public toilets on site.
Great dog friendly park with playground, toilets and amenities. No fenced area for off leash dogs
A lovely tucked away part of Richmond with a really friendly dog owner community that pops down.
Great Park, was in Underbelly, close to Burnley Station & not far from Richmond Station / Swan Street.
Such a beautiful garden! Absolutely loved it, a great new playground and lots of off-leash areas for dog owners! Would recommend!
Beautiful for a morning or afternoon walk - especially if you have a dog to walk (or like to watch dogs run around). Reasonably sized too considering its location and is home to lots of play equipment
Great park! Lots of green areas, unleashed dogs allowed in some areas, great playground for all kids of all ages, big sandpit, toilet and picnic facilities
A good playground and a reasonable dog walking area, but do not be there when the local Primary School ends for the day. The playground becomes very busy with many boisterous older children.
Barkly gardens was a beautiful place to take the kids. It has bbq and toilet facilities and a great little playground. We had a nice time.
A lovely park, great for walking the pooches, going there for a picnic and heaps of trees to sit under.
A SENSATIONAL PLACE TO TAKE THE FAMILY
There is something for every bit of girl of all ages to do here. Come along for a BBQ whilst the kids run.
I am currently in hospital and have been for 6 months Barkly Gardens, provided a great place for us to meet up. My younger nephew, Elliott ran and played soccer with his dad or just exercising against the wall.
My niece loved running with the dogs, and I think they tired her out. There are areas set aside for dogs and a huge playground.
You'll love it.
Wide open spaces, nice atmosphere, but playground equipment could be bigger or more challenging.
Love this park for the playground, the climbing tower has a slide at the top and the kids love it. Nice open space for ball + frisbee
