Barbeques Galore Chadstone

Don't do it to yourself. Go elsewhere. Post purchase service is non-existent, as experienced when I returned a spit basket that broke on first use. Rude and surly staff. Relieved that we ended up buying our new Weber BBQ from another retailer. Having to potentially deal with BBQ Galore if something went wrong with a big ticket item would be a nightmare.

Detour to another BBQ Galore.

I've been to Chadstone maybe 3 times in the last 6 months.

Stock is plentiful, staff could have bothered to greet customers. Forget about being served though.

Standing there waiting for service at the counter, staff seem to find any reason to disappear. I can understand everyone is entitled to a break but seriously hire enough staff. On the last encounter, two people working, one being the manager.

"Store manager's approval". Wow.took 40 minutes for her to serve me. "Won't be long" is what she kept telling me on three occasions.how many times before its just "too long". No apology though, oh well at least I'm being served. To be honest I'd rather have not been served, the lack of enthusiasm and care was astonishing.

Sorry to say I will never return to this store. Went to the Nunawading BBQ Galore store after this.they were brilliant - complete opposite to this experience.

I went in today to get a portable pizza oven and Helen was fantastic to deal with. She was very helpful and knows her stuff. She was professional, polite and considerate. I couldn't ask for more. Keep up the excellent quality of customer service you offer.

At Barbecues galore Chadstone I found staff very attentive and helpful,
purchasing outdoor furniture was a very enjoyable experience
I highly recommend this store for all your outdoor needs
Helen in particular, helped me with aftercare regarding outdoor furniture
and I felt looked after and given special attention
cannot thank her enough for all the wonderfull support and patience
she showed me, even offering too help lift and carry furniture
out of the store to my car

Older lady behind the counter less than helpful and had a sour look on her face every minute I was in the store. When I asked for info, it was like it was an inconvenience. Then was made to wait for a good 5-7 minutes while someone out the back finished his break without any explanation why the three free staff in the staff couldn't help. The guy who eventually served me was good (didn't have all the info I wanted but was informed enough for me to purchase). BG Chaddy you need to improve your product knowledge and in-store communications.

We got a great bargain the Ziggy. We were looked after very well with all the points about it. So service was very good and informative.

Three staff chatting not even one "can I help you" for 20 minutes while I was walking around, until they saw take a photo of something and then one staff member came over straight away like I committed a crime, nice service guys, I won't be back again.

We ran into a packaging and safety issue with the Chadstone store.

Zero stars for store manager Matt who was defensive, condescending, disrespectful, sarcastic and lacked empathy for customer who narrowly missed grievous bodily harm. The rest of the employees were empathetic and felt that safety improvements could be considered but unfortunately the last word rests with the store manager.

Five stars for Stephanie (head office customer care), Helen and the regional manager who were so helpful, they actually understood and acknowledged the hazard. They took our feedback into consideration to make furniture shopping a safer experience for customers.

Went to the store today to buy a Ziegler barbecue.waited at the counter while 3 employees were there and was completely ignore.there was no recognition that i was even there.i then went and stood by the Ziegler barbecue and waited for the floor staff to approach me.a chap was moving BBQ's around and also ignored me.when he finally realized i was there he asked if i was being looked after and when i replied no he casually stated that i should have approach someone.lesson learnt do not go to BBQ Galore Chadstone if you want customer service.none there

Ordered a Ziegler barbecue online as per sale great buy. Picked up from Chadstone store and changed color at last minute. Vinnie was fantastic amazing service, did this for me with no fuss. Also bought a gas bottle and Vinnie helped me load into car. Thanks mate great service and much appreciated highly recommend.

Terrible customer service. Checked they had stock of a particular product which they said they had I asked them to double check and they again said yes. Therefore I said I would buy it and asked for them to put it aside. After driving 30m+ to pick it up I was told they actually didn’t have any. Sloppy and disrespectful of peoples time.

Great customer service. Helen and Steve were awesome. We bought a range hood for our house but could not install for 4 months. When we opened the box, the rangehood was damaged. They took the item back with no questions asked and swapped it over with a new one. Helen also went out of her way to help with a query on installing our bbq.

Very friendly and great service. Parking is underground. Beware the 40 km per hour speed limit nearby

I didn't know it existed! A paridise for bbq livers. They also have spices and sauses. So many things to buy!

Good range of outdoor furniture, lots of BBQs and related equipment. Some high quality high end BBQs at commensurate prices as well, not just the budget stuff. Some of them actually gassed up and you can see them working. I liked the sales staff, they were present, Freindly, but not pushy or in your face and very knowledgeable about the equipment and their features.

Fantastic range of BBQs. Accessories are a bit overpriced. But ask and they will do better prices. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable assistance and a very wide range of barbeques and related items.

Needed a gas fitting to adapt new hose bought from Green box store. - All the hoses they had only worked with 2 types of BBQ.

Spoke to staff at BBQ galore and they advised there were numerous sizes of hoses & fittings and they had stocks.
Bought the correct fitting and was able to have BBQ chops for dinner! The staff here are brilliant and know their stuff.
Highly recommended.
