Great experience today in store at Geelong BBQ Galore. Cassie was super helpful, patient and lovely while making our purchase. She made the process go very smooth.

Went in today to buy a smoker, offset or kamado style, after a good discussion and loads of information from the team member I decided it was best to get a kamado style for what I need, we concluded the deal with a great price plus a few extra goodies, after a short 30sec trip to the warehouse, the same team member was excellent in helping me load the large and heavy kamado into my ute.
Will absolutely be dealing with these guys from now on for anything I need relating to the subject.

Purchased a barbecue and sink about 2 years ago spent over $2,000.
The barbecue works well. The quality of the stainless steel in ours is rubbish. Is rusting even through so called powder coat and has been undercover from day 1. I went through head office in Sydney where I was told by salesman there that all metals rust which is load of rubbish. Good stainless steel will not rust in 2 years especislly under cover. Gold doesn't rust, silver doesn't rust! The communication between head office and Barbeques Galore in Geelong has been terrible. I had to chase everything up. Consumer Affairs said it didn't matter whether rust is not covered under warranty or not there are still sections under Section 54 of Australian Consumer Law which negates that. I would be looking elsewhere perhaps Bunnings to buy a barbecue if I was you. I will never go to Barbeques Galore again never ever ever again!

I would not recommend this shop as when I purchased an unbrella it was damaged to the point I was scared to open the box. I took many pictures of the box before I opened it as it looked second hand. When I opened the box it was all broken and then when I rang the shop to complain I was told I could get it under warranty as they did not want to loose any money. They are not a honest company if they were they would have told me I could get a full refund but they wanted me to take the umbrella so that they could get it's under warranty so they didn't make a loss shame on them.

Great service from Tanya, we just recently bought outdoor furniture which was not available anywhere else and they managed to get it delivered the next day (all the way from Geelong to Point cook) while other stores were not able to do another 5-6weeks!
And also thanks to delivery man, great help as I was alone at home and couldnt be of much help with heavy pieces.
Very Happy with the service, Thank you!

Have attended the Geelong store on 2 different occasions and for each visit have not been able to obtain any customer service. The store was also playing WAP by Cardi B over the store stereo which is far from family friendly.
On both occasions I was ready to spend over $1k on a bbq but will now do so from another vendor. Don't waste your time here.

5 workers in the front of the shopping sitting on chairs doing nothing and one worker with at least 20 people waiting to pick up bbqs doing it all alone. Feel so sorry for that guy!

Wasn't happy with the service provided over a click and collect order, due to management feeling it wasn't reasonable enough to give us the item we were after even though it was still in stock.

Staff were generally friendly and we are pleased with quality of the barbeque and outdoor setting. However, it was very hard to get help from a staff member and different staff were quoting us quite different prices for things, sometimes well above the price on the ticket. They were very reluctant to accept payment using Gem Visa, despite is being advertised on their shop counter and website.

We have purchased a fair few items from bbqs galore geelong. We have had a couple of things go wrong with a some of the things and have to say their after sales and customer service is second to none. Highly recommend them
