SHOCKING customer service! 3 staff members in the shop, no other customers and wasn’t greeted or offered ANY assistance.
Came in with my partner to buy our first barbecue, felt really uncomfortable and also wasn’t offered any assistance to take the 50+ kg box to the car. Won’t be shopping here again

I've bought from Barbeques Galore before at Highpoint Home-maker centre and they were so helpful and amazing, but this, this us beyond comprehension how a staff member named Addy could be so dismissive, misinformed, poorly behaved and down right rude. Luckily for her co worker Amy who was far more professional and pleasant that I remained as calm as I could.
BBQs Galore, please educate your staff and ensure you protect your brand by not having patronising and condescending staff members from making the error of making your customers feel stupid.
I have spent $1500 and previously over $2k and deserve some respect. I walked in with a smile while she was on her own personal call and then made to feel like I disrupted her day when I am the one who was inconvenienced by purchasing an item on line using click and collect (on an item that was showing available!) because click and collect is quicker, right! Well apparently not! But that's fine, I just wanted to understand what was happening because guess what, I had no idea what was happening because I received no email or call on ETA of the item, it was 72hrs later. So shoot me for wanting to know where my goods are.
Addy made it highly frustrating with her 'go f yourself' look on her face and rude comments. Didn't even want to talk to her anymore as Amy was helpful and shocked by her colleagues stupidity and tactless behaviours.
Best part, when I said I was going to speak to her manager about her behaviours, she actually said "go ahead", this was disappointing because she just openly admitted that BBQs Galore do nothing with complaints. Poor brand representation.
I'm not saying don't go to them but I definitely wouldn't tolerate the poor behaviours. There is no need for poor customer service.
Amy was great and handled a bad situation very well, she should be applauded for having to carry someone like Addy the way she is. She was definitely handling and managing the situation very well.
Really disappointing.

Just want to say thanks to Barry and the team at BBQ Galore Highpoint. Very friendly service. Barry knows his stuff. If you're looking for a BBQ, check them out.

If I could give these guys 0 stars I would.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every time we have walked into this store, we are not greeted, they (blonde woman and man with a ponytail) just stare at us and keep going about their business i.e. On their mobile phones.

We will never step foot in this store again. Preston it is!

If I could give below a one star I totally would. Went there to buy a typical bbq. Was standing there for ages looking like an idiot before someone noticed me. I mean do you need, two staff having a conversation with some guy that's not even going to buy anything? I made my purchase. The girl that worked there was nice about dim though. The male manager extremely rude and didn't bother to help us carry the bbq to our car. Made a face. Needless to say I now regret my purchase.

I bought an outdoor set that was delivered and in poor condition. I inquired about a refund and I was told I was going to get a refund, but instead I received a gift voucher. I didn't want the gift voucher and was told that is the only way refunds are done.

I have tried contacting your customer service team for almost two weeks to further discuss this and I have not received a response at all!

It's disgusting that you would think I would shop with your store again and provide me with a gift voucher instead of just giving me the refund. You provided ME with a poor quality product. I'm not happy and I will not be buying through your company again.

Bought a set of outdoor couches online during lockdown. Big mistake, quality of timber was fairly poor to start with, but taking them out of the box 2 parts were broken. After initially getting a good dialogue from my attempts to get these replaced, this gradually slowed to monthly or worse responses, and now after more than 6 months and no replacements, they messaged me saying they’ve closed the matter.
Do not buy from this company on line!

Bought an electric patio heater 3 months ago, one bar stopped working, called customer service told me to send an email, dis that a few weeks ago, followed by a reminder and still not even an acknowledgment of receiving my email!

Didn't have what I was looking for, however, staff member Tom was extremely hekpful, ringing around other stores for the product I wanted. Excellent customer service!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I have bought a few items in the last couple of years. The last thing was a Napoleon Webber type BBQ. Have used it a few times and I love it, cooks well.

Shop was empty. No-one came to attend to us. All the barbies were whoppers, and we wanted a smaller couple sized appliance. Finally went to Bunnings out of desperation.

We visited bbq galore at highpoint 3 times before we came back and finally brought our bbq and outdoor setting. Twice we dealt with Sarah, her service and knowledge was fantastic. Brilliant customer service and took care of us when it came time for purchase once we had decided.

I am blown away at the low level of customer service from the Highpoint store. Disgusting attitude from both the manager and sales girl. I am truly appalled at the experience i just received.
Stay away from this particular store!

Store and range seem to be Ok. Service could be more friendly. It's not hard to
smile and greet super customers. You should also walk up to them and ask if they need any help, especially since store was so quiet and sales reps just standing around.

Absolutely fed up and disappointed with customer service provided from this place. We bought a brand new outdoor kitchen set worth over $7500 and it was noted there was broken panels before we picked up this set (they said they would replace it). We have been very patient and followed it up 3 times yet no call back or replacement for the past 9 months. No communication!

I don't really know whether my bbq is good or not. I bought it 3 weeks ago and it is sitting in my spare room while I wait for the trolley that was promised to me last week. Disappointing that I was told what was needed to get my sale. If I knew I was buying a decorative bedroom barbeque I would have certainly shopped elsewhere. Hoping to cook something in summer but who knows.

Purchased a BBQ in October from BBQ's Galore, bought their own brand "Cordon Bleu" which cost over $1,000. Two weeks later I took off the cover (also purchased at the same time) to find that the glass was shattered. The BBQ was on my terrace under its own cover, under cover from my house. No idea how it happened. So I called Highpoint BBQs Galore to be told that I need to go the website and fill out an 'issue with my product slip', fine too easy. After doing that I was called by someone from head office, who was very accusatory, but then admitted it must have been "temperature change" that caused it to smash, TEMPERATURE CHANGE!? On a BBQ. This all happened in October, I am writing this on the 23rd of January. Nothing has happened since, no one has contacted me, I have contacted them at least 5 times and have been told 5 different things. No one ever calls back when they say they will. All of this, and the week after I spent $1000, EVERYTHING at BBQs Galore went 20% off. Thanks for nothing.

Service was good and the people were helpful. The guy in the loading area was super helpful because it was such a struggle to get the BBQ in my car.

Went in and told them i was thinking about a webber and was bombarded with stuff about the wiggle and brown (their home brand) and felt pressured into buying one.

But there range of bbqs and show room were quite big and despite the pushy nature of the staff they were at least very friendly
