The food was good, enjoyed the beetroots, roast pork and pig’s head croquettes.

The Jamon ham wasn’t particularly impressive. Ordered the special mutton chops which were too fatty us unfortunately.

The service was good to start with but experience an U turn after we declined to pay extra tips on top of 10% extra charge for Sunday.

Not sure if this is the “bar of the year” quality, but some dishes worth to try.

Monday night dinner was fantastic, especially for $65pp. The drinks menu is extensive and well curated. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We chose to come here purely based on the 4.9 star rating and we couldn’t fault a thing! The food was hearty with a beautiful depth of flavour - we had the bread+butter, cavateli in brodo, and the lamb tagine. Great music, staff and wine list as well!

Good wine and atmosphere. Food not great: lamb very salty, grain salad had overpowering lemon and the ricotta was pure butter.

We absolutely loved our lunch at Bar Merenda! Friendly customer service, nice atmosphere and delicious food! It was a great surprise to find this little gem.

Second time here, last night. Just as exceptional as last time. Seasonal food menu was spot on — rolled mutton was interesting and delicious; in-house baked focaccia was phenomenal.

Great vibes in the space and music was on point. And the service was so so good. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Couldn’t recommend this spot more highly. A must visit in the region ️

Prompt and intimate service the minute I walked through the door. Outstanding knowledge of local, regional, national and international wines. Very friendly, comfortable surroundings, lovely location. As 5-star as they come. Bravo. I will definitely be back. Thank you all.

Gorgeous wine bar tucked away in Daylesford. Had a Melbourne Gin Company cocktail, basil oil focaccia and gnocchi lamb Ragu. All absolutely amazing. Service was spot on too. Will definitely visit again

The place Daylesford absolutely needed. I have been going to Daylesford for years and prayed for a place like this to open.

Brilliant service with an absolutely wonderful ambience.
Coffee both Decaf and Regular are fantastic with their own roasting and blending on site.
The consistency with every cup I have had is an art form by the barristers. BRILLIANT

This is an outstanding wine bar with very solid food focus on the best producers, farmers, butchers, winemaker everything is sort locally. The dishes are simple but well thought, great wine list, focus on natural wines and little artisan producer trough Europe and Australia. Highly recommend when you are in Daylesford and worth a trip.

Goodw wine sleection and friendly staff. Meals were definitely made with care. Could easily be the place to get a home cooked meal away from home.

We popped in here last night to grab a glass of Beaujolais and shelter from getting caught out in the rain. Lovely, cosy and intimate

Beautiful spot. Food was incredible (the pine mushrooms blew my little socks off!), it had a lovely cosy vibe and service was terrific - warm and hospitable. The wine list was particularly impressive, enjoyed two very special and unique glasses. Will definitely be coming back!

Smart but unpretentious wine list with perfectly seasonal and local bites. Relaxed but special. We really loved our lunch today.

Fabulous food, tasty, fresh and the cocktails are magnificent. Really good service and very friendly hosts, lovely music playing in the background, relaxed atmosphere and oh, extensive wine list too.

We have recently discovered our new favorite wine bar. Great people and lovely place. The food was flawless.
