Bao An Tang Chinese Medicine

I have been under the care of Dr Kevin at Bao A Tang Chinese Medicine Centre as I suffer from a skin condition known as Rosacia which results in severe facial redness and acne-like symptoms and soreness.

In the past I had been prescribed pharmaceutical cream along with antibiotics resulting in a negative affect on my gut health.

Dr Kevin prescribed me a daily herbal treatment mixed for my specific needs along with a daily facial cream which I commenced around six weeks ago and I also have adhered to avoiding food and environments which are detrimental to this skin condition.

I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my facial complexion and the discomfort that this condition causes. Both the redness and acne-like symptoms have toned down after this short period of time. I am hoping over time with continued treatment, the condition will heal totally.

I have been consulting Dr Kevin for many years. He was the first doctor to have been able to resolve my battles with rosacea and eczema. He takes my pulse, asks pertinent questions, and designs a herbal-medicine formula which, when taken in combination with the application of creams he prescribes, has proven way more effective than anything a Western medic has been able to do. A skin condition is not merely a dermatological issue; it usually has its roots in one's internal organs which need to be addressed, and Dr Kevin is highly adept in such diagnoses, and hence, their treatment. I would recommend his expertise to anybody with skin concerns (or anything, in fact, in relation to one's general health and well-being.)

First, I'd like to thank the doctor for taking the time to listen to my concerns. Everything went smoothly, and I'm satisfied with the way I was treated during my visit.

I turned to Chinese medicine as an alternative to Western medicine, such as steroids, which had not been effective for me in the long run. It actually made things worse. While my condition is not extremely severe, it does cause daily discomfort.

The doctor prescribed herbal powder for me to drink and a dermatological cream. Remarkably, my neck eczema disappeared within three to four days of using these treatments. However, as I gradually reduced my use of the cream, my eczema returned even stronger.

When I inquired whether the cream contained any steroids, the doctor assured me that it did not. I have my doubts, and I hope I am mistaken. The rapid healing effect of the cream, followed by the quick return of my eczema, makes it seem remarkably similar to the effects of a steroid cream. I'm concerned about using it again, to be honest.

Either this cream should be well-known worldwide for its effectiveness, or there might be a missing ingredient not listed in the information provided online. I cannot definitively answer this question.

Dr Kevin was recommended to me by a friend. I have 3 kids that have ezcema since they were babies and have been using cortizones, wet dressings, bleach baths, antihistamines, moisturiser and one occasion immunosuppressants to treat it.
We are now at a stage where their skin is much better and when they do have breakouts, we can manage it fast and it clears up better (without cortizones!).
When we first started treatment, we still had breakouts, but over time it has gotten less frequent and definitely less severe.
One of my kids has the crater like ezcema that is super itchy. There is a marked difference between how it used to heal and how it heals now. With cortizones, it would linger and remain a deep crater for a long time. Now I notice the crater is shallower and heals quicker.
We are very happy with how Dr Kevin has helped us.

Dr Kevin saved my life! Suffering from topical steroid withdrawal after using steroids for over 20 years, I was hopeless and bedbound. Took our daughter to see Dr. Kevin 14 years ago when she had severe case of eczema and Western medicine did not really help after trying several creams and steroids. We were prescribed one of their own cream from Dr. Kevin and the result was nothing short of a miracle. The persistent eczema had quickly disappeared. 14 years later, our daughter had a bad skin irritation which looked a little like an eczema strike. But forgetting our daughter has eczema because we have not seen it on her for so many years, we took her to our family GP a few times and got some cream and medication to no avail.

Dr Kevin at Bao An Tang Chinese Medicine in Abbotsford is absolutely an amazing practitioner! I have had issues with allergy and asthma for all my life (I'm in my mid-50s). Modern medicine (GP's, specialists, allergology professors etc.) have been unable to help me and only Dr Kevin was able to provide me with some comfort with his magic herbs.
