I am very impressed by the Banksia Medical Centre. The reception staff is both professional and friendly and the doctors whom I saw, Dr Bernard Shiu and Dr Chris Chau, were gracious, attentive and plainly caring and their evident professionalism inspired confidence. Highly recommended.

Dr Chris is attentive and a great listener, he is hard to get a booking with but also tries his best to fit us in at last minute when we need it. Thank you Banksia staff for your great communication with us and we appreciate your care. You are definitely the best in Geelong.

Banksia medical centre is an excellent choice for families and individuals alike. Both myself and my children have been patients at Banksia medical centre for some time now and I can honestly say that the care and service provided by the doctors and staff is of the highest quality. Dr Shiu is both clear and honest in his approach, yet sensitive to my families unique needs. Bernard is always quick to welcome us with a warm greeting and ask questions about our daily lives, but also works thoroughly and professionally to discuss medical issues at hand. It’s clear that not only is he an extremely good doctor, but he also cares about the patent experience. This friendly, yet professional manner also extends to all other staff, who make the patient experience smooth, warm and easy from the moment you walk in the door, to the time you leave. I absolutely trust that Bansia Medical Centre will always treat my family with integrity and to the highest degree of their professional ability.

Great experience with Banksia Medical Centre! The staffs were very nice and helpful. Dr. Genevieve Hamilton was great, gave realistic expectations and she is extremely professional. She takes time to listen and time to explain. I will definitely recommend the practice!

Zero credibility. Even after specifically saying we don’t want to proceed if the consultation is charged,
Doctor sets appointment himself on our behalf, gives consult and proceeds to charge the next the day.

Dr Jenny is an amazing doctor who really gives you the time of day and shows a lot of empathy. I am disappointed I will no longer be able to see her due to their vaccination policy even though I informed admin I hold a valid medical exemption. I understand wanting to protect the health of other patients but anyone in there could have covid or another transmissible disease and I have always organized telehealth if I have any cold/flu like symptoms. Also was asked for my mobile number twice to let me know but never heard back but perhaps they were really busy.

Dr. Eric and Dr. Amanda have to be the kindest and most compassionate doctors I've ever had the pleasure of being treated by. They're an absolute credit to their profession and both have wonderful senses of humour. I'm so glad I found this clinic. I really feel like I'm in good hands here. 10/10 Would recommend

It is rare to find such a remarkable practitioner. Not just in a technical and professional sense - but in the way these are delivered. Sympathetic, empathetic, engaging, a sense of humour, patient and always willing to make time. At no point in time does one get the feeling of being rushed.
Dealing with him and his staff is an experience and not just a clinical event.
His efforts are very much appreciated and will not be forgotten

Dr Anthea Condilis has been a most thoughtful and attentive General Practitioner to both me and my husband. She has a kind and gentle manner and she is keen to provide several options for resolving health complaints in a timely manner. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking out a new General Practitioner in Geelong.

You couldn't get a more caring and genuine doctor than Dr Bernard Shui. He listens to you and he follows up with a regime that is tailored for every individual. Dr Bernard is very intelligent and prepared to listen to you and then acts in your best interest. I have found the staff attentive to your needs.

Scumbags charge 30 dollars per missed visit. The staff try to sweet talk you on the phone with excuses and lies. They treat customers like animals. Very non reasonable doctor.

Do not look further If you are looking for family doctors who actually take their time listening to you concerns and adresss your issues. Highly recommended!

Saw a new doctor at this practice who I told I needed a repeat prescription to. She then had me talk about my entire mental health history before telling me that she wouldn't prescribe my medication and I wouldn't have withdrawl (despite what I have been told by psychiatrists and specialists) Was also called paranoid as I suffer from germ phobia. Do not attend this practice if you have a mental illness and are fragile.

Great practice with excellent reception staff. Since we changed our medical practice we have been very happy with Banksia. Our doctor is caring for our whole family we are very happy with him.
