I consulted with their expert upholsterer Leigh, to come up with a design that suited my needs and he delivered fantastic quality workmanship.

Couldn’t recommend Banksia highly enough in you’re looking for good quality furniture. Fantastic service from the time we set foot in the store. We were after several new couches, some reupholstering of old chairs, and some cushions for a bench seat. Great assistance with choosing the best styles and materials for all of these. Delivery people were delightful and extremely professional. Products themselves are beautiful and will clearly stand the test of time. Good turn around time considering we ordered over Xmas. Love that they’re locally made too!

Nothing was too much trouble when we had an ottoman recovered.
We were uncertain about fabric texture and shades that would match. We took our rug into the Banksia store and were helped to narrow down the options.
We then brought samples home, with the rug to see how it all came together in our home.
We made our choice and it’s a clear winner.

I love my new Alaska 3.5 seater couch from Banksia Lounges. Delivered as promised within 4 weeks of ordering, this high quality, locally made couch comes with a 15 year structural warranty and is beautifully made and finished. They have a wide range of quality fabrics - I went with a James Dunlop 80% wool, which has a luxurious felted feel, that's soft and comfortable, as well as long wearing. Comparison shopping in Richmond confirmed couch of similar standard would have cost several thousand $ more, had much higher delivery fee and not supported local jobs and manufacturing. Delighted I chose Banksia Lounges - thanks!

We used Banksia to reupholster our lounge. They did a great job and it looks like new; and the service was excellent. We will use them to do our dining chairs and another lounge very soon.

I took two sitting chairs made in South Australia in ~ 1949 to Banksia Lounges for refurbishment. The chairs had been my grandparents and I found them under the house after my dad passed away. One was just a wooden frame. They needed complete re-padding, upholstering and refurbishing of the beautiful timber frames. They are now completely restored and stunning! They will be around for generations to come and will be an heirloom to pass onto my daughter and grandchildren.
