Banh Mi Hoi An

Worst Banh Mi i have ever had in my life. This is coming from the experience of being a banh mi enthusiast and have tried banh mi all across Australia. I went there because they have a high rating. Shocking how they got those ratings because i am very2 dissatisfied with mine.

The bread is not even vietnamese bread, let alone hoi an.food was not authentic and pate was not fresh.crispy pork was not crispy but soggy.customer service was too bad.the cashier was unfriendly and eating at the same time when taking our order.tables outside were dirty.we all vomited the pate out after eating today.

I’ve been getting Banh Mi at different spots across Melbourne for some time now and can confidently say THIS is the spot for the freshest, most flavourful, vibrant Banh Mi you’ll get.

Firstly, the tofu banh mi Is DELICIOUS! All the elements of a perfect BM: crisp, fresh bread; flavourful fillings; crunchy veggies; stuffed full of tofu; and just the right amount of chilli! Also this thing is huge! Definitely bigger than your average. But a HUGE shout out as my initial Banh mi was slightly wrong, and when I told them they drove a new one to my house! I’ve never had such kind service. Thank you! I’ll definitely be back:)

Not sure if it was a one off but the chicken I had today was suuuper dry. Bit dissapointing considering the price. The bread was quality though.

Enjoyable Banh Mi but unfortunately the prices have become expensive compared to other places nearby for the same quality. Also wanted to add that the workers children were harassing customers while eating and bullying other children passing by - commenting on their weight.

One of the best banh mi’s I’ve ever eaten. Brings home all the Flavours of Vietnamese cuisine in a bun.
Loved the vegan bahn mi addition of mushrooms and mint too.
Staff are very sweet. It’s peaceful sitting inside while waiting for your food order. The shop is clean and cheerful.

Have to say service and quality of the banh mi has gone done a lot since they opened. Was very impressed by the quality and service when they first opened.have been back since multiple times and each time the service is worse than before and the crispy pork is stale and so is the bread. I've tried enough times to know I won't be back unless nothing else is open on Bridge Road.

Easily the best banh mi place on Bridge Rd. I particularly love the french baguette roll, it's slightly different from your regular fat roll - longer and crunchier so extra fillings. Enough roll and filling here to leave you satisifed.

They don't mess around with dumb variations like some other places attempting to mix it up (i.e. Chicken sausage, fish, tofu) keeping it original and perfect as should be.

Love that they use Vietnamese mint along with coriander and mint (Vietnamese mint not always common on a banh mi but should be). Fresh zesty salad and extra crispy pork, doing the simple things verywell makes this banh mi joint the best on Bridge Rd.

Great colourful artwork & vibe at this venue is on point and reasonable priced.

Initially put off by the 11.90 price tag, but this place delivers. Definitely the best Banh Mi I've had in Melbourne.

Absolutely delicious. I had a roast pork Banh Mi and it didn’t disappoint. Pork was perfect, the salad was fresh and the chilli was a little fiery. But it was the perfect amount of heat to compliment the roll. Highly recommend and so happy to have found this gem.

Super slow service and long waits with the roll ingredients being stuffed so inefficiently with chopsticks. Gave them a second try, waited 25 minutes and when I finally asked where my order was, was told it had been lost. Won’t be going back.

Bun was like a cheap baguette - super crunchy/crumbly outside, air on the inside. The pate was salted beyond all reason.

Had their lemon grass pork banh mi and it was truly delicious. The bread was a long beautiful Vietnamese French baguette and not your standard bread roll and the pork was moist with that wonderful chargrillled and lemongrass flavour. Best banh mi in Richmond, no exaggeration. Crispy roast pork is perfection and Hoi An style grill is a must try. You won't be disappointed.

First visit here and Best bahn mi I’ve ever had! Ordered the Hoi Ahn lemongrass pork and it blew my expectations! Complex and deep flavors! Will only go there from now for my bahn mi fix! Thanks guys!
