Bang On Music

My son (aged 9) was taking drums lesson at another place for over 18 months and it wasnt going great. I am glad we found Bang on Music and the change and progress in him ever since Monica took over has been amazing. He is really confident and enjoys his drumming lesson. Eagerly looks forward for his next lesson. Monica is very encouraging, patient and really tailors the lesson according to the student. Thank you. Highly highly recommend.

Both my daughter (9 y.o) have lessons with Monica. She tailors her lessons to the student allowing us to play the music we are interested in while also learning the basics.

Monica is doing an amazing job teaching our son. Within a few weeks, he plays the drum like a pro and enjoys both classes and (amazingly) the homework!? I would recomend Monica to anyone who wants to get serious about drums in a professional and fun learning environment.

I cannot recommend Bang On Music enough. I feel like I have really connected with Monica over the past few years. She really helps me improve on my reading and understanding of drum music. My technique has improved drastically over time due to her excellent teaching and during my lesson I feel time pass so rapidly because of the amusement I get out of her classes. I have been doing classes with her for almost 5 years and I could not imagine taking them with anyone as considerate as herself.

Monica is an amazing teacher! Jessica (age 7) learns some much each week and Monica makes it so much fun learning her favourite songs. I recommend her to everyone and I think I might need to start taking lessons as well!

I couldn’t have asked for a more patient, understanding, and skilful teacher! I’m a working mum in my 40s and finally took the plunge in to learning drums. I’m a true beginner (even reading music), but Mon has me bashing out tunes like a rockstar and I love it! She creates the environment that I was after - safe, challenging and most importantly, really fun with lots of laughs. I highly recommend Bang on Music for kids through to the more ‘mature’ like me.

Monica at Bang On Music is a wonderful and patient teacher with a wealth of knowledge. Her passion for playing and teaching is evident in every lesson. As an older student I can’t praise her enough and I’m sure the parents of her younger students would agree. And she is very reasonably priced.

Mon is an amazing and teacher who teaches in a way that suits every student individually. She is also very friendly and helps her students reach previously unfathomable goals. I can't recommend her enough.
