Bandolier Brewing reviews
24Really disappointed. We hadn't expected the level of BBQ that we'd recently had in Georgia and South Caroline in the US but hadn't expected to spend $200 for a meal that we took home to try to improve ourselves to the point of being willing to eat it. Many of the menu items weren't in stock (brisket, lamb) necessitating running back and forth to our group and rechecking alternatives (since there is zero table service). Then what came out was honestly some of the worst food I've ever had at a venue- limp 'fried' cauliflower that was so salted it was nearly inedible, chicken wings that hadn't been divided into wing portions and had rubbery skin and hardly any sauce, corn bread and Mac and cheese that were not recognisable as American bbq food.not to mention issues with the sound system and wait staff standing around chatting rather than adding to the Vibe or even asking to take drink orders. The members of our party that ordered burgers said they were OK but as party of 6 we won't be returning. Really let down.should go back to making tacos which were heaps better.
So bar and food are separate run businesses, we went on a bad day filled with screaming kiddos,
Brewery selection great food menu limited and long wait times.
Great beer and the food also great
Update 30/7/23. Kitchen changed hand and even though I was looking forward to my Latin eats, the new managers menu was great (vegetarian) still will return very yummy the corn ribs.
We had a booking for dinner, but due to kitchen staff being sick the kitchen was closed - understandable, however they weren't able to contact us ahead of time to let us know. Also, the website needs updating as the menu and drinks have changed. But. Atmosphere was a vibe, beers were so great, bartenders were friendly, and we're super keen to come back for another tasting paddle and food when the kitchen is open! Would be great to go with mates too, for a kid-free parents night out
Great brews, good quality pub grub served in a friendly environment. A welcome addition to Warragul. New beers coming on tap all the time.
The beer hall in Mason Street has opened up and has all beers on tap as well as a fine selection of Mexican style dishes to accompany a brew or 2.
Nice and relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and friendly staff. Great meeting place for groups. Nice food and drinks.
Took the train from Southern Cross, specifically to visit this brewery and we weren't disappointed. Large venue with plenty of space indoors and out. Good range of food and great tasty food - we opted for the Mexican and it was absolutely delicious. The beer tasting paddle was a good option to sample their range.
Great beer, great service and incredible, unexpected Mexican food. I wish I lived here as I'd be in here all the time!
Great brews, good quality pub grub served in a friendly environment. A welcome addition to Warragul. New beers coming on tap all the time.
The new beer hall in Mason Street opens Friday 9th, don't miss it!
Coming soon: beer garden attached to the beer hall.
Great venue and atmosphere. Beers are good. But the bartenders need to put as much effort into their customers as they do trying to get into each other's pants. We left and went to the Commercial. Sorry
Love the new venue! Beer is great as always, the Kolsh was especially good, tacos are delicious and very friendly staff, if we lived in Warragul this would be our local for sure.
Beer is great, tacos a great, staff is great. We always stop by when we're in the area to have a pint and something to take home.
The mandarin sour made me want to give up my life in Melbourne and move in next door.
Staff were super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about both their product and the region. Could have sat here all day. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back.
Great place. They can your takeaway beer on the spot for you - very impressive. The beer is pretty damn good
Fantastic little brewery producing some really tasty beverages.recommend both the white and the bottled ginger beer.friendly staff, good little setting, nice little walk from town to build up a thirst.
Attended an engagement party at this venue in July. Great venue, excellent service from friendly hard working team. Highly recommend.
Absolutly awesome. The atmosphere, beer, wings and fries are magnificent.
I will be back for sure.go check it out.
Nice little craft brewery and bar set in the Warrigal industrial area. Still in the growth phase with the right attitude and friendly personality. Sharing the taps with other well known breweries they have a great selection. Food is either fryer food or guest food trucks. No out door seating yet but watch this space. Come for a visit for great beer and friendly chat.
Decided to drop in on the way back to Melbourne from a country road trip. Great tasting beer, friendly staff. Even have sports on the tv out the back. Wish this was my man cave
Newly opened, great little microbrewery with friendly staff. Currently offering 3 of their own tasty beers, as well as some guest beers, wines, and cider.
