That’s my favourite shop always coming there to get my meat and my shisha favours beautiful customers service

Never going to buy meat from them I ask for goat curry pieces and meat was mixed with lamb pieces and meat was smelly…. They don’t care about customers taste

NOT FRESH.
Beware when buying minced meat/beef. They were red (looking fresh) on the outside. When i bought them and brought it home, they were dark/ brown (a few days old) on the inside. Its Bamyan Halal meats for sure but NOT FRESH AT ALL. Wont be returning here again

They sell lamb meat mixed in goat curry pieces someone who don’t like lamb they ruine their taste

AVOID IT! NOT FRESH AT ALL! I would give a zero star if it was possible! Bought marinated chicken on the weekend and asked the guy if it was fresh to which he replied that they always have it fresh. The marinated chicken was anything but fresh. It was very old and it would literally fall a part before cooking and it was absolutely tasteless!

Goat curry pieces meat is always bad quality. Meat peices are mixed, sometimes stinky meat is sold. Check before buying.

Way too expensive especially in Ramadan and the quality of fresh stuff is very weak so only good packed middle eastern stuff but make sure you check the prices in Coles and Woolworths first because I found coles and Woolworths much cheaper than this place
I mean today one kg of pomegranate was $12 today and the same Pomegranate in other shop just around the corner was $5.99 per Kg so not worth shopping over there again and won’t do it

Disgusting place, cockroaches everywhere, bugs and worms behind machine and food. Horrible place people rude and lying about things, never wil go again. I don’t know how people can go in this place and buy food. Never again.

Disgusting! From now 2 days ago my Mum purchased 1 kg of sweet from Bamian Thomas Street and as soon she arrived home put straight away into Fridge and tonight I wished to have some sweet with tea, as soon when I ate of them totally rotten smell, totally Disgusting.
Please give me reason why should I not report to Dandenong Council? I have all proof?
Selling expired food is unacceptable here

What a great grocery shop Bamyan is, I come here once a week to do my shopping, it is Just a great store and lovely experience. The team there, are helpful and always smiling.
Price range is reasonable, you can get everything you need here.
Even though the place is overcrowded with items, but the staff can manage quite well.
Weldon guys keep up the good work and keep smiling

As a regular i have been buying meat from here for past few years however since last 3 trips with my missus we figured out that parts of chicken were missing as before i would buy myself and will trust them and wouldn’t check or count after bringing the meat home.

I use to buy 10-12 chickens for my monthly consumption. I confronted their dishonesty.

How they use to cheat is that the guys who cut the chicken will not include parts of chicken like we noticed two wings per chicken would be missing from 10-12 chicken. (almost 2-3 kgs however they charge you per chicken) so it’s hard for the customers to figure-out unless you would come home and investigate.

This might be happening since years with me but we recently just figured out as my missus will clean the meat herself after bringing the meat home however before her i wouldn’t have that much time to investigate.

We confronted them for their dishonesty and cheating and were assured this will never happen again however this kept happening and never stopped.

Their meat section is dodgy as hell and i will recommend everyone to double check! As chicken is sold as a whole not per kg, however their method of cheating is that they will not include all the parts of meat included per chicken.

Customers come first, going there for years now and never been treated like a number.
Respect and dignity. They have my support to the death or I only bye my meats there.

Good place for Afghan and Iranian grocery. You can find almost everything there, with friendly customer service.

Butchers not maintain social distancing. Allowing as many people as they can. When I walked in there were 5. Before I left 25plus people inside. Otherwise everthing is good about this place.

I will never visit again because particularly drove here 20kms for getting the goat meat and ended up eating rougher meat should be a lamb or sheep sold in a name of goat we pressure cooked 20 whistles still no one can chew.

Although meat quality is good, the cashier “Ibrahim” charged more than the items on my bill taking advantage of the store being busy. Although less amount but definitely not good practise. Earn money respectfully and not by stealing.
You lost a customer just because of this.

A lovely place to visit and do your grocery shopping especially if you are from Indian sub-continent and looking for a variety of kitchen stuff. Their meat is fresh and have got so many options for chicken and red meat. They also have salami and mince which is better than other places. They have some marinated chicken wings and drumstick which are ready to cook and can stay in your freezer for few days (3-4 max) without being rotten. Staff is polite and very helpful and they usually understand Hindi/Urdu. You can also try their fresh Afghan/Persian style naan which are so yummy and good in taste. They do have a small confectionery so you can find some fresh Indo/Pak sweets like Rasogolla, Barfi, Milkcake etc. Overall a must visit place if you are around in Dandenong and most importantly they are open till 11 PM so you can get halal meat upto late hours.

We purchased marinated meat for BBQ twice and both the times we had the worst experience. We asked for freshly marinated meat but we received a left over meat from probably the week before.

Other than that the staff has great attitude and are quite friendly.

Disappointing. Staff have a serious attitude problem and are rude.
Very poor service from very young girls they have at the checkout. Disrespectful, immature and poor understanding of products. Workers must have a basic command of the English language as a minimum and should be taught how to serve customers politely. Years ago, the service was better. It is important to invest in some well-trained and experienced sales people. New workers should shadow more experienced employees and develop the necessary skills to serve customers.
