Bamboo Cafe and Restaurant

One of my favorite places of Middle East vibes in Melbourne. Services and food always on the top, and prices are really affordable.

Bamboo Restaurant and Cafe is one of my favourite Iraqi Restaurants in Melbourne, Australia. This is the place to go to get real authentic Iraqi food and The atmosphere is nice too. With pictures of Iraqi landmarks on the walls. They have good customer service. The mixed platters are really nice And delicious. The restaurant has ample space. I Highly recommend this Restaurant.

Really good I just loved the food and the staff we had a really great chat, and they were very kind to customers

The lamb cutlet was deep fried! To grilled tomatoes with the kebab. Far off from being authentic iraqi food.

This place has no respect at all for their customers wouldn’t recommend them. It’s supposed to be an Arabic restaurant, unfortunately it’s the opposite first they won’t welcome you at all wouldn’t recommend families to go there because their are many boys standing at the entrance and all you could hear is swearing.

We left and if I knew it’s will turn out like this wouldn’t even waste my time and go there, I think 1 star is way to much.

I got the porterhouse steak in my first sitting and let me tell it was far from a porterhouse the steak was as tough as boot leather and was not a porterhouse it was a thin cut of waste meat more like the only appetising part of the meal was the mushroom sauce which was good and made the steak palatable, then I had the lamb ribs and they were overcooked, flavourless and dry, $30 for 4 tiny, terrible ribs, on top of a "salad" made of lettuce and red onion, also $10 for a bowl of frozen fries and tomato packets. The service was also subpar, the waiters barely knew english which was fine, but they kept forgetting the requests given to them, not coming back ever again, I love food but this restaurant made me lose my appetite

The staff of this place are truly wonderful people. The food is also very tasty and high quality. They pack a lot of food. That's all I can say. I can recommend.
