Balwyn Community Centre

A lovely place. I attended a class there today and will be there again tomorrow for the class. E, xOx

Hidden treasure that has lots of equipment if you need a bit of a workout without going to the gym. Location is great, if you want to play a bit of ping pong, or even tennis there is a court on-site as well as a bbq. Great tennis court. Ideal as there is bbq facilities as well so while watching a game of tennis, get the bbq going and have a feast after a match, or sit under the pagola for a bit of shade and a chat with friends, and shops only a hop away if you want take away or buy a coffee and a cake from a variety of coffee shops surrounded near by.

One of the best community centres I've seen, friendly staff, great day care, tennis court and gym. Great spot for local festivals, well designed space.

Great building. Staff at the front desk are marvellous and helpful. Good use of place where a wide variety of courses are available for everyone.

This centre gets reviews because of lot of open space to play and leisure outside. Right so, i love the open gym they have asking with storage for tennis and table tennis.

Stunning purpose built centre. Tennis, huge community garden, child care & maternal health, classes & function room. All in big beautiful grounds. A credit to the City of Boroondara.

Combines a picturesque open space and activity centre for the family. Tennis court, table tennis, adult exercise stations, scooter/bike riding small track, bbq & picnic tables.
Also a public toilet! Beautiful native garden beds flourish among it all. Take some time out:)

Love the upgrade of Balwyn Community Centre especially the new front landscaped area. There is a tennis court which we played on. BBQ facilities, tables, outdoor exercise machines and self cleaning toilet set in a very tranquil and peaceful environment. Great place to organise a get together. Thanks Boroondara Council for upgrading the Balwyn Community Centre. It was money well spent. Sue Kennedy:)

Relaxed, and down to earth, clean neat facilities in a nature setting with big trees and bush. There is community garden, with plots you can rent. They have childcare, and they rent out the hall at a very reasonable rate. All set in lots of spacious Australian bush vegetation.

Good for weddings and reception. There is a huge kitchen and a park outside.plenty of parking options

Very nice place offering a range of classes and events to participate. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. A favourite place of senior citizens.
