This place is perfect for relaxation and the ladies are amazing! Definitely worth every cent!

Today I had a magical experience at the Ballarat Sanctuary Day Spa!
A beauty treatment that could be done at a multitude of other walk in salons but which I am forever grateful that I got to experience at this spa. They went above and beyond and every detail was considered with comfort and convenience for me, the client.
My therapist respected my need to switch off from the noise of home life with two young kids (without me even communicating that need to her!) and allowed me to sit and read my book and enjoy the quiet.
She had such a gentle, calm attention to detail and allowed me to feel so incredibly relaxed.
A definite highlight was booking time in the Sanctuary before my treatment. Absolute bliss for a tired, touched-out mumma!

I had a wonderful time at Ballarat Sanctuary Day Spa I booked in for a massage and a facial. It is hidden away a bit behind the Mercure hotel but there is signage to show you where to go.

The rooms have a lot of natural sunlight everything is spotless and I found the staff to be really friendly and professional.

After my treatment I was given a choice of teas and brought to a sunroom where there was a fireplace it was a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. I would gladly go there again.

I absolutely love coming here, from the moment you walk through, you are greeted with a friendly smile. The ambiance and atmosphere automatically sets you at ease & helps you relax. Definitely recommend all the services here. The facials, massages, pedicures and the facilities such as the showers/bathrooms, sauna and pool are world class. The cherry on top is their complimentary tea and snack.

From start to finish, I was so relaxed and very well taken care of. My therapist Denise was so in tune with my body. The 'rest and relax' area was amazing in itself. So comfy, warm and inviting.
I have left feeling absolutely fantastic and fabulous

Love, love, love! Have been coming here since it opened and I just adore it. I occasionally go to spas while on holiday or in Melbourne for the day and am always disappointed. The staff are so responsive and it comes across that nothing is too much trouble. The environment is incredibly relaxing and I never feel rushed to leave. You’re in for a lovely experience at the Sanctuary. The treatments are divine, and the before and after treatment experience is was really sets the sanctuary apart; with the opportunity to relax in their large spa beforehand, the lovely cup of tea and treat given to you at the completion of your therapy and the option to take a nice hot shower and enjoy some beautiful shampoos and body wash. The water pressure is sublime from the rainfall shower head.

What a beautiful space, highly skilled therapists and truly delightful staff.

I visited my dear friend in Ballarat and we pre booked a massage and spa / sauna Kylie was my therapist, who was amazing - all of the staff were fantastic.

I will be coming back…better than many Dayspa facilities I have used in Melbourne.highly recommend.

So glad we could squeeze in a trip to The Sanctuary over the weekend. After walking around Sovereign Hill all day/night on Saturday it was magic to be able to unwind and relax in the pool.

Make sure you plan your trip well ahead of time as there are limited spots available and it does book up. All the better in my mind, it was so nice having the pool to ourselves for more than half the session! The team was lovely and really made our visit a great experience.

The robes were so soft with a generous fitting (easily 4XL friendly). You're given flip flops, robe, and towel included in your entry. All you need to bring is your bathers.

We had an hour with the pool and sauna which felt like more than enough time. We practically floated out of the spa, so cozy and calm on a cold wet day. Highly recommend a visit!

Beautiful ambience and the staff are so peaceful and respectful. I had Sophie do my massage. She had great technique and strength. I felt truely relaxed anc will definitely be coming back again!

I had the Head and Sole treatment today by Ashleigh and it was amazing, the pressure was spot on, I have to say it’s the best massage I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return. Thanks Ashleigh! (hope I’ve spelt your name correctly)

Definitely deserves 5 stars.very professional, welcoming ladies and such a beautiful place! Haven't really had a proper massage before as I'm not a big fan BUT I am very pleased and relaxed haha. I will want to come back again.

Had better massages from my cat, sadly. After spending $225 I couldn't help but leave disappointed. During the massage i did request for firmer pressure twice and also ticked firm on the form but this was by far the most gentle massage i've ever had. If you like the feel of someone just running their hands over your body then this is the place but unfortunately my cat gives more pressure when he walks on my back with his paws.

Came here for a relaxing message. Staff are quite friendly. Prices are a little more expensive than Elysium, but you do get the change rooms and the pool (If open). Close to where I live, would defiantly come back here again.

A great thing here is the beautiful location and parking. Easy to find and free parking.

I had the ‘Head and Sole’ treatment done today by Louise and it was incredible. I have had a lot of massages and my message today was the best I’ve ever had. She was so gentle and her movement just flowed of which made the experience so relaxing. I definitely will return! The other staff were also lovely and in is a beautiful building!

I love this day spa. It's so luxurious and warm and peaceful. The ladies are so lovely and very professional. I always have a wonderful experience here. I had a lovely afternoon here today for my birthday and cannot recommend this place enough!
