Ballarat Seafoods

Bought oysters & prawns yesterday.oysters were beautiful but prawns were totally disappointing.
The woman told me the peeled prawns were fresh and the ones still in shell were frozen so, for once, I decided to buy the peeled ones. They were totally tasteless.certainly didn't have the flavour of prawns.

Very helpful and kind staff who helped me put together this platter and stick to my budget! Beautiful fresh prawns and oysters!

Fresh prawns my ars they were terrible waited an hour and a half and paid too dollar and could not eat them never again

Due to Covid19 social distancing regulations, noticed a long line of customers outside Ballarat Seafoods. Everyone was happy to wait and talked how much they loved the shop. Once in store you are greeted by the friendliest staff, whilst under the pump, were so courteous and upbeat. The seafood quality and range is fantastic. You will not find a better seafood outlet anywhere in Victoria. It is that good and explains why customers are happy to wait in line for their produce.

This is my favourite seafood specialist – we drive weekly from Avoca to buy from Ballarat Seafoods' exquisitely fresh and wide selection of seafare, absolutely nothing from these gals requires anything more than a fast scorch in a hot pan, a touch of seasoning, perhaps a drizzle of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon before serving with green salad. So quick, so healthy, so tasty. Yum!

It's hard to decide which is the highest calibre - the seafood or the lovely ladies who serve.

We purchased some flathead fillets today for our dinner and and everything exceeded our expectations. The flathead was so fresh and sweet. Also being served by the friendly lady assistant who was very attentive made a pleasant shopping experience as it was our first visit to your store. So thank you.
