We purchased garden soil for new raised garden beds. Very impressed with the service and delivery (helpful, quick and friendly) and the quality of soil is excellent, at a competitive price. Highly recommend.

Very happy with the service and quality of the product at Ballarat Sand and soil. On Sunday we called in for a visit just to have a quick look at the stock. We were so impressed by the positive attitude and helpfulness of the staff we ended up purchasing all our garden needs. They also delivered extra stock too us just to complete the job. It was a pleasure dealing with them and our garden looks great.

So I called and got a quote for composted top soil DELIVERED! Was advised that it would be a total of $88. Thought sweet! Get it delivered to my place of residence and have been charged $118. Seen that I have been charged a $30 Delivery fee? Excused me I asked when called to order this that it would be $88 in TOTAL! No mention of an additional $30 for a delivery fee. When I asked for a quote including delivery I would assume as I was being very clear of what I was asking, with the price that I was given! Quick to charged my credit card for this. Called and spoke with Bob whom was no help at all! To busy calling me matey! I’m not your mate. This is completely discussing that you have no sense of customer service and stinging us people for charges that we are not clearly advise of up front? Just tell me so that I can ask around, I would call this fraud! Wonder what a solicitor would think of this? I expected to see some response from the owner for a decent resolution other wise this matter WILL be taken further. Thats the good thing about the power of social media the word gets around about the dodgy operations of company’s like this!

Highly recommended Ballarat sand and soil i went out to the yard just to have a look at the different types of rock and soil and Andrew pointed me in the right direction very knowledgeable guy. Make sure if you are going to get any product you have the measurements it will make it easy for the guys to work out how much product you need.

Ballarat Sand and Soil has an amazing range of garden supplies. I bought the garden bed soil mix and cottage mulch on the weekend.which both were perfect. All the staff were excellent being very informative and courteous. Prices are fantastic making the whole experience very pleasant. A
