Ballarat Marriage Celebrant Kate Ritchie

There's so much to think about on your Wedding Day, but thankfully we had Kate to help guide us through the ceremony. She is very well organised and was able to sum us up very well as a couple purely via correspondence as we live interstate. Thanks Kate!

Kate is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I were meant to be getting married on the 29th of May and we got worried with covid so we asked Kate for her help and she helped us pull off a Emergency beat the lockdown wedding. She went above and beyond to make our night exactly what we wanted. As soon as she knew we wanted to get married that night, she organised it all while I organised my guests and my bridal party. Kate organised everything while she went to a funeral as well. She was fantastic from start to finish! I highly recommend her to anyone. My family and friends adored our wedding. So thank you Kate, for being absolutely wonderful.

Absolutely amazing, Kate was truely amazing from start to finish! I can not recommend her enough for all the work she put in to our special day! She thought of everything, even down to whispering reminders into our ears through out the ceremony!

We have no words to describe what Katie did for us or just how kind, supportive and professional she really is. The best I can do is give a brief version of our story.
Four weeks before the wedding my wife’s father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer with only a short prognosis.
Three weeks later it was very evident that he would never walk his daughter down the isles.
I’m not sure why we decided to look up celebrants but somehow fate found Katie for us
and at 4: 30pm she met us in the driveway, gave us a package with everything we needed to provide to the magistrate to apply for an exemption.
Three days of whirlwind later, we were married and two days after that he passed away.
There is so much more to this story but again I can not do it justice.
There is no question about Katie, she’s one person that myself and my wife will never forget and could never truly thank her enough or appropriately.
I would recommend Katie to anyone with no doubt that they would feel just the same about her as we do.

Kate is more than a celebrant, she is the support system you didn’t realise you needed. She is so experienced you can put 100% trust in her to make the best decisions for your wedding. The radar said rain was coming, so we had 3 plans. We did plan b and it was beautiful. Kate has such a positive energy that it just shines out of her. She is also very witty. Many guests said Kate was the best celebrant they had come across. Highly recommend Kate. Thanks again for everything you did for us.

Kate provided excellent services to my Husband and I. We were meant to be married in April however due to Covid we had postponed until the end of October, Kate stayed in contact the whole time while we waited and kept us up to date with any changes. We had a beautiful intimate wedding along Lake Wendouree. Kate's ability to storytell and create a beautiful ceremony made the day extra special.
