Ballarat Goods Shed reviews
10Mandy, Ishan and the team at The Goods Shed have been fantastic to work with. We recently held our wedding here and our expectations were exceeded with the venue's professionalism, open communication, flexibility and helpfulness. We cannot thank the Goods Shed team enough for their efforts to make sure our day was what we envisaged.
For today - 18th October 2023:
"IBAC's Regional Public Interest Disclosures (PID) Forum"
Very nice place to attend. The sound system and lighting worked well. Usher staff were friendly and attentive, and the space allowed for the flow of people in and out.
Always looks like it is not open and you have rocked up on the wrong day. Need to work on their sustainability if hosting a workshop on it. Coffee not great.
Would have given give stars but their was construction work outside and this would have made disabled access a nightmare.
A very interesting new development. Larger social and business areas. Include a midsize theatre. Has kitchen areas and a large bar. Only about half of the building is finished. The remaining space will be home to restaurants and cafes, and a brewery.
A neat little venue to watch a local production. Ushering staff are rude, as there were issues letting someone with a service animal in, to the point one usher showing me to my seat saying "imagine trying to bring your dog in here" and rolling her eyes at me as if I was expected to agree with her discrimination. As soon as the first act was over, I reported the behaviour to another staff member who just shrugged and said that the usher was older and had different views about things. The seats are also super uncomfortable, you wouldn't want to be more than a size 14 to try and fit yourself in there.
Atmosphere and facilities were excellent, however the seats were small and uncomfortable as the arm rests were unmovable.
Great to see this restored as part of Ballarat Station precinct revitalisation. Hoping to see good things.
Place its self was really lovely! Very classy. Didn't have the correct drinks that the couple picked an paid for. The food really wasn't that great. Sliders were amazing but the rest was pretty lack luster and very sparse. Also responsible service of alcohol was not carried out to the best of its ability their was a guest there that shouldn't have been served any alcohol as they could hardly stand up they were so drunk befour they even entered the building.
