Ballarat Farmers Market reviews
27Contrary to a lot of farmers markets I’ve been to, there are actual farmers here selling produce!
One of Ballarat's best attractions! Run by a local bloke, helping other small businesses and farmers to make a living. A great shopping and social experience for our community.
Best markets around ballarat.
Always find something new there.
Located next to lake wendouree
Rock solid, genuinely nice vibe, Farmers Market. Just enough of everything for everyone. Thankyou
Super day, Super Weather for the Market and Ballarat Begonia Festival. Visited both and enjoyed everything. Thanks Ballarat for this Special Day's Events. Awesome
I really love this Farmers Market It's like a local businesses mini-expo. A lot to explore. One of the best ones I've visited in Australia.
Amazing market had great fun shopping and also had a yummy dinner really happy we made the trip up.
A small but lovely market with lots of impressive local products, ie fruits, organic veggies, wines, handcrafts etc. Recommended for tourists and local residence.
A great Saturday market. Something for everyone. And yes we gone crazy over the GF donuts…. So yummy!
There’s varieties for everyone. Just short of coffee vans. Probably need one or two more so the queue isn’t too long. But love it and would come again if In the area.
A good variety of stalls and a very good (and passionate) team that operates the market. You can certainly find everything that you need (and more) on this Farmers Market.
Produce stalls were great, was hoping for more plant stalls but overall well worthwhile attending.
Got there later than expected and wasn't much there. But it was nice just to have a wander around and support some local businesses.

Held a market stall at the market for Snake Valley Handmade a locally owned and operated giftwares and hand-poured scented candles store
I always come away with something good from the farmers market. Fresh veggies, eggs, baked goods, soaps, crafts, sauces, beer, wine or honey.
Lots of items that are unique from others available at supermarkets and get to support small business from the region.
Many stalls here with everything from nuts to wine to clothing and eateries. Open air browsing in the park.
It was so so, not that many stalls this time, I guess it's the weather. The pricing was a bit of an miss, not that many bargain to be had.
I went on purpose to get something my sister wanted, I don't go so often as I mentioned the prices.
Can be a fun little while for the family especially when there are more stalls.
Farmers market provides opportunity for small business and farmers to sell there products and connect directly with their customers.
We had a fantastic wander through the market. So many excellent products. Some things are treats, others are staples but it's just a brilliant way to shop and get a walk in the gardens at the same time. Do it once any you'll want to return.
