No need for sauce on the pies or sausage rolls they taste great without it. The coffee was simply amazing, and the staff were very welcoming and polite.

Fabulous food, coffee and service. Who would have thought a pie for breakfast could make your day!

The New York style focaccia is soooo good! Highly recommend the cheese and pepper meat pie too!

Love it here, people working there are SUPER nice been going for a while there, love their cheeseburger toast and the mushroomaholic toast, I was given a feta and spinach roll and I loved it. Frozens are super good too. Will definitely keep going there more often.

Had take away pies and they were brilliant
We got the cauliflower cheeses and leak, beef and mushroom, chunky beef and Thai Chicken.

Friendly service and they wrote what each was on the bags, where other pies shops usually have you guessing

The rest of the food looked amazing and a nice relaxed spot to eat.
We got takeaway but will be back to eat in

I just had the best takeaway pie I've ever had. Homemade filling and pastries. I also had the best ever ham/cheese tomato croissant I have ever tasted takeaway and or homemade. Will be going here again and again.
The people who gave less than a 5 star rating needs to stop being so sensitive.

I really would like to give a five star review but we didn’t have a very pleasant experience when we first dined here. Might be us being a tad sensitive being the minority aka Asian but the staffs weren’t being particularly welcoming compared to ALL other customers that came in after. We’ve been told it’ll be a 15 mins wait for the pie we ordered but ended up waited for an hour for a wrong pie. We were supposed to dine in but because of the long waiting time we chose to take away instead and didn’t know we got the wrong pie until we were home. Nevertheless it was a great pie. We even joked about it (haha it took some time huh) when the staff finally brought us our pie after an hour but she replied nah just awhile… could’ve mistaken us for someone else but an hour is not ‘awhile’.

The airport outlet in the Qantas terminal charged $13 for a pasty. Eat in and no plate provided. Just a dry meat pasty with soggy pastry in a bag with a sauce satchel. Tables a mess.

Went with a friend yesterday to have coffee and cake - the coffee was really good, the cakes were delicious and the service friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Requested an extra hot cappuccino barista delivered a normal cappuccino. When you’re paying $6.50 for a coffee you expect them to get them right.

Having been a long time fan of Wonder pies, ventured to Heidelberg for a quick lunch. Split a Butter Chicken and Thai chicken pie with my sister. Forgot how good they were! Large chunks in a perfectly spiced sauce. Followed by a vanilla slice chaser accompanied by a VERY acceptable coffee. Lovely set-up with mini table and chairs for kiddies. Easy parking. I shall return

Just recently started making morning stops into baketico heidelberg on my way to work this year and exceptional friendly staff service. Coffees are excellent and so are the many delicious small cakes. Definitely a place I will continue to visit. Thank you

Massive thank you to the team at Baketico Heidelberg. I had a small 30th bday lunch (about 20p) in the side pergola area and it was brilliant. The team worked so hard to make to make the day seamless and everyone was so impressed with the food and drinks. Really big thank you to the team who was on that day

Best coffee I've had in a while plus they have Wonder pies for sale. My new weekend local!

Was excited to discover their menu but have been somewhat disappointed. Seeded sourdough was much too thick and seemed it was still defrosting (? !). I ended up throwing half of it out, sadly. Lemon dessert not bad but excessively sweet (yes, dessert can be much too sweet and it ruins it). Vanilla slice had good flavour and texture but the pastry wasn't fresh - somewhat soggy. Lasagna was nice, had great flavour, but was light on meat. A big fraction was just pasta and cheese. Also the microwaving recommendation on the packet was ridiculous (don't do this!) but in the oven (also recommended on the packet) it was much better. I'd prefer if they charge a bit more and provide more meat.

Gnocchi was actually quite lovely! But I can get the identical product at Leo's supermarket. Lamingtons were ok, but a fancy place could use a fancier jam, at least one step up from the cheapest donut jam. It's like everything had immense potential, but was was just.underwhelming. I'd still gladly try lunch stuff in person (this was delivery) though and the verdict is still out on their coffee:)

Of course this is just personal opinion - that's what reviews are. No need to be salty.

I really wanted to enjoy this place as I have driven past so many times and never been in. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. My toasted sandwich was soggy and flavourless and my sausage roll was soggy too. $20 for those 2 items I expected more.

Reply to owner- we’ve all had it hard the last two years, I’m not a chef, I’m a front line worker, a nurse - I spend my days covered in hot PPE assisting people in the home post surgery and Covid recovery in your area. In the few minutes I have to grab my lunch on the go, the last thing I want is to have to do your quality control for you between clients or spend my limited lunch returning to your venue to fix your quality problems. From your response it sounds like I am to be saddled with the responsibility to monitor and fix your training deficiencies and endure such a passive aggressive response, at no point have you invited me back to fix it. I’m glad others think your food is terrific, my experience was sub par and I hope this feedback has provided you a different customer experience that may have been a blind spot for you and the team, as well as emphasising the inconvenience and impact poor quality food has on your patrons, particularly those with limited bandwidth in these tough times.
