If i could give no stars i would.
Absolutely appalled that 3 young women were locked out of their room with a defunct key card with no emergency contact person to help them. 3 young girls were left at 12.30am on a Saturday night - even the police came and tried to contact a representative from the hotel. In the end they stayed at McDonalds all night. They have no security cameras, no emergency number, no nothing. Then they find out the owner entered their room at some stage after the girls left to clean the room even though he said that there were other cleaners that did it. Too many inconsistencies, too many lies. Do not trust this hotel with your loved ones.

Pretty pleased with pricing and experience. Convenient location. Beds comfy, amenities satisfactory although decor looked a bit dated. Biggest gripe was no drop box for after hours keycard return and the c&nt that stole our unit car parking space that night.

Room 6 is huge one double and one single bed. All rooms up steep drive but nearly all rooms are at same level as all car parks spaces. Rooms 3,4&5 have better car park spaces. Carpark 6 is tight between 2 concrete posts but ok for my Tuscan SUV bigger dual cab utes would extend out too far and door opening a problem. Happy with room will book here again booking 30 plus days in advance and genis member gives $10plus off at least compared to on the day booking. The Muster Arms Hotel next door good for evening dinner 20m walk.

Sliding door on bathroom stuffed room 10, cobwebs around roof in ensuite area, shower needs grouting cleaned or replaced looks mouldy

Owners very friendly and accommodating for late check in, large space room, hot water with good pressure

From outside can hear neighbours tv but from inside the room it’s very faint, thick walls are hard to find nowadays so that’s a big plus

If you have a kid my room also had a bath tub, just ask the owner which rooms with extra beds may have one

*Does not include dish soap/sponge so if you’re staying for work / for a few nights maybe bring some*

A fairly basic Motel. A little bit expensive for what it was however it was in a good location within walking distance to everything you need. Parking was a little tight.

The bed was kind of hard & the bathroom could do with updating but we had a nice view over Ballarat & it's a great little motel to get away, walking distance to everything you'd need in Central Ballarat

We thought the room was very good very clean.
But the first impression was lots of weeds unkempt garden.
Not a good look.
But l would stay again because price point was good and location was good. Two wine glasses are a must as their were none.

Only stayed overnight in a family room, was very clean and modern, beds were comfy too. Definitely will return next time!

The owner was nice and helpful and all facilities were very clean. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Was very clean and hygienic and was overall a good price for a good night sleep highly recommended if your trying to get away for a couple of nights

Basic clean tidy rooms close to town & conveniently located to restaurants and tourist attractions walking distance. Carpark a little tight if you have an SUV. The best face washers I have ever used. I know bit random but worth the mention. Bar fridge complimentary bottled water, ironing facilities hangers etc. Only downside a little noisy as situated on busy street & roundabout close by

Great efficient service, clean room and ideal location with shops and restaurants very close by. There's also plenty of parking lots.

Tidy, clean and convenient, staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Only downside was the bathroom was looking old and tired. Parking on site for each room is very tight with not a lot of room to manoeuvre.

It was great stay. Room was great room to move and clean.
Will stay there again when need too.

We stayed on June 17th and it was very clean, shower beautiful and warm and heating great. More like a higher rated motel. The staff were great and helpful at short notice.

THIS MOTEL STOLE ME 6000 AUD FROM MY ROOM


Me and my boyfriend arrived to the motel on Monday 13th of January. We made a very big mistake and take our passports and savings to the room. After checking out, we realised we forgot everything in the room (or they stole it before and that’s why we didn’t see it, we dont know). We called them and asked if they found anything, they said no. After insist a couple of days, they SUDDENLY found our passports (they found it 10 days after, I dont know how because they have “checked” the room when we told them our passports dissapeared). When I went to the motel to have my things back, all my money had disappeared. Im pretty sure cleaners and the receptionist know what happened. I asked for cameras and the receptionist told me that “cameras of that day didn’t work”. I talked with the cleaners, they dont know very good English so you cannot talk with them. Things got pretty weird. I know that in that motel there is one (or more) thiefs. They stole the savings of all my life, but I know KARMA gonna get back to them. PLEASE DONT BOOK IN THIS MOTEL! You are only going to give money to thieves.
And yes, I made a police report but Ballarat police didn’t help me at all

Nice room, comfortable bed and moccona coffee (smooth) which was great! Nice snd handy for meals. Pub next door, Hogs Breathe is across from the front door plus a few others just down the street. Safe parking which is a bonus and McD’s if you want for breakfast is about 75m away. Why stay anywhere else? 5
