Very pleasant staff, calm and peaceful environment to break away from a busy schedule. However, the room lighting can be improved. The jacuzzi was amazing, well maintained! Overall satisfied with the service received.

I intended to stay at this place for 2 weeks. I was glad to see on check in the room was spacious with spa. The bathroom and shower had ample space. Unfortunately, the bedding had hair on it and I felt the sheets were not clean. When the matter was raised with the reception the following day, I was advised by the receptionist that they change sheets once every 5 days and if I want earlier than 5 days room service; I’ll need to look for alternative accommodation. Obviously, I was quite disappointed by the response for a reasonable request and I’ve checked out after a week and booked another motel. I only had once towel replaced in 5 days. In fairnesses, I’ve experienced Substandard customer service.

Have stayed a couple of times because it’s so beautiful very peaceful, friendly owners and very clean!

Well thought out facilities in the room. Washer and dryer with iron and board. Spacious room with dining area as well as sitting area. Spa bath and shower in bathroom. Very clean and up to date. Loved our stay

Cannot recommend this little place highly enough. Value for money - it's amazing. Super clean and neat. Funky interior and so spacious - there's even a washer and dryer. The owners are super friendly and cannot do enough to help. One of the best places we've stayed at on our road trip.

We couldn't get a room in Lakes Entrance during Christmas and booked this one. The room is very nice. It's spacious and clean. It's still 30-minute drive to Lakes Entrance, which adds to the commute time each day.

This is a hidden gem and would definitely stay there again. Clean, roomy, extra features like armchairs, micro and kitchen facilities. Friendly hosts

We booked a Deluxe Queen Room with two Queen beds for Xmas eve. Staff is very friendly. The room is with excellent standards, clean and tidy, pretty new furnitures. Great hot water is a plus on top of a heater in the bathroom. Shower and toilet is separate on different side of the bathroom, practical and user friendly. Both front window and back sliding door have screens, easy to keep the room breezy while insect free. Back door to a private yard court. Room is spacious enough hold all our luggages and still have plenty of spaces to move around pretty easily

Nice spacious and modern rooms. Very clean and great water pressure in the shower. We didn't realise it was so far from town (~30 minute walk) but that's on us for not double-checking the location. Definitely recommend this motel.

Rustic feel to the place. Well maintained and beautiful patio with table and chairs. Shame we stayed when it rained alot! Came to visit my grandma so will be staying here again when it's better weather

Location is a little far from town centre but worth it.

I stopped overnight on the way to Melbourne. The apartment was clean with good quality toiletries. Even the TP was better than what I have had elsewhere! Tea and coffee making facilities.
Microwave and sink and well stocked mini bar. Best of all is the service. I left very early and got a call from Gurmeet to say I left my laptop charger behind. He arranged to post it back and did not want any payment. Highly recommended.

We only stayed 1 night at Barnsdale motel & it was a lovely room…spacious and the bed was really comfortable! It has a cute country feel to it with lovely olive trees outside standing out against the red painted motel!

Very clean modern motel style accomodation with very friendly owners. We stopped in for a night on our way south. I wasn’t expecting much - so was very pleasantly surprised to discover very clean and nicely designed motel rooms. The owners were also very friendly and chatty. Highly recommend

Why was my stay here excellent?

One reason: the managers! We were late to check in, but they stayed up in their own time to give us keys to our room with a huge smile all the way. 5-star customer service. The rooms are legit 5-star, too. Huge, modern, and more comfortable than your bedroom you've been building for the past 15 years. In the morning, we were late to breaky, but were seated with that genuine, personable man who loves what he's doing. We ordered breaky, and the same man went back into the kitchen to flip eggs and bacon, staunchly sauntered over to the front desk to check out guests, and then back to the kitchen to serve a delicious, and surprisingly well cooked and delicious meal.

I tell people this is the best place ive ever stayed, and it's true. These rooms should be twice as expensive, because you'd be paying close to 4-figures if your booking was in a major city. If you're passing through on the coast road, book here. If you're coming out from Melbourne for a Gippsland holiday, book here. Screw lakes entrance, Bairnsdale motel is the place to be. Srs.

Stayed at this motel, picked at random based on advertisements. Definitely a good decision. Overnight accommodation was clean, quiet, safe and had a high level of comfort and amenity. Have another overnight stay in Bairnsdale in a few weeks, so returning to this motel is a no-brainer.
