Bairnsdale Kansas City Motel

Bella is absolutely wonderful and more than accommodating. My partner and I were coming down to Gippsland, to see family as we usually do. We had some family emergencies happen in Melbourne and had to move the dates. Bella was more than happy to help where she could.

The motel is clean, service is friendly and the rooms are worth more than what you pay.

We will definitely be back.

The only positive about my stay was McDonalds was close and at least warm and dry, and McDonalds staff were more than happy to let me stay a few hours after seeing photos of what I was made to stay in. When I pulled the bed cover back to go to bed, there was dark hair and other unrecognisable small objects in the unmade bed. I noted the stark difference in colour of clean to dirty linen on the bed so I opted to walk to McDonalds and wait out the night there. At least McDonalds was warm

I was staying in room 19 it was beautiful very clean and tidy I rang bella because I had to Check in late due to family member in hospital she was very understanding and worked everything out for me so I could Check in her attitude was outstanding she's very respectable and kind thanks bella will definetly stay again

Perhaps a little dated, but generous sized room, spotlessly clean and a comfy bed. Away from the road so quiet.

I HAD A REALLY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE RUDEST MANAGER I ENCOUNTERED MY ENTIRE LIFE. THEY OVER CHARGED ME 125$ AND ACCUSED ME OF LYING TO THEM THAT WE HAD 9 PEOPLE WHO STAYED THE NIGHT BUT ONLY BOOKED FOR 4 PEOPLE. I REPEATEDLY TOLD THE MANAGER THAT WE ARRIVED IN A 5 SEATER SEDAN CAR, HOW IS IT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE TO FIT 9 PEOPLE IN OUR CAR? !? I HAVE BEEN TRAVELLING ALL OVER AUSTRALIA AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED TO ME. DON’T BOOK IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT IT’S A SCAM!

Great experience with my recent overnight stay here. Staff was bit tricky with a English, but very well attended to me, Booked a 5pax room which was well maintained & a nice toilet with all toiletries and room had good amenities like - Oven, kettle, TV, iron etc& beds were quite cozy. Greatly recommend for this price of $198 for 5pax for a night

Great overnight with all the essentials. Room was clean and tidy. Close to supermarkets, fast food and restaurants. Most importantly being pet friendly. Car parked right outside the room so easy unpack and packing. Will definitely stay again.

When I left nsw I had to pack alot of clothing to into a back WITH MY OWN TOWLS.it was completely full. Now if I had there towls I can't even put it in the bag.

Warm, clean, roomy no fuss.very close to pubs shops and railway station reasonably priced. Will stay here again Thankyou for letting me have my room earlier. Bed is comfortable and lovely hot water. Microwave jug toaster ironing board.even YouTube and Netflix to watch for free. Full length mirror and plenty of seating

If you are just looking for a simple no frills motor inn for your home base in the Gippsland Lakes district, this is the place. Simple, efficient service right on Main St, easy to come and go, plenty of beds for parents and kids, always cold water in the fridge, YouTube on the TV and the price is perfect for what you get.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Optional breakfast (delivered to your room) is nice and affordable.

Slightly dated design but freshly renovated rooms. The motel is in the middle of town and an easy walk to all local shops. The price is very good considering the location. Not the fanciest motel I've stayed at, but far from the worst, and great value for money.
