Love it here that much so I became a member, friendly service, friendly people, awesome food!

Scotch Fillet medium, received it rare blood oozed out when cutting.
Definitely not medium, at it anyway and enjoyed, but not the favourite that I ordered.
More than half was gristle, a little bit I can accept but not half.
Cook said I could have brought it back, I accepted the rare steak but can't accept half of it being gristle.

Great meals here what happened to the rolls man so nice to pop in he would come over give us a roll was nice.bar staff sure do know how to do nice drinks friendly and always clean will be back for sure

It's ok over priced oily, greasy beef Texas Parma like it's microwaved didn't enjoy at all.

Food is good. Facilities are good. Bowls greens are great.

Bowls club side of this place is extremely cliquey and controlling.

One of the best places for a feed in town.
I've just wish they done a Sunday Roast

Whatever became of the salad bar and complimentary bread, as well as polite and friendly staff. Our meal last night was the roast lamb and vegetables. The lamb tasted as though it had been sliced two days ago and left under a heat lamp. It was as dry as the proverbial camel's droppings. Really not good enough and you should be ashamed to serve such garbage. As for the person that took our order and my complaint; probably the less said the better.

Awesome. Great place, nice friendly staff, and good food at a good price. What more could you ask for!

Atmosphere is great and staff are friendly and helpful. Live blues club on last Friday each month is a must see.

I had roast of the day which was pork the meal was ok but for $26.00 it was tiny. Everything at this club has come down to the bottom line. Not that good.

Had a meal at the club today we both had steak the fat on the steak had not been rendered chef very fatty ruined the meal friday chef.

Service was good to fair, meal was disappointing for the money I paid. I was expecting crispy skin duck as was stated on the menu with vegies. The duck was not at all crispy skinned and the veg was from a frozen packet.for $38 I was expecting better, Sorry guys but you need to step up.

Had the best meal tonight. I had crumbed prawns & salad, hubby had herb crumbed king George whiting. Both meals were superb.fresh, plenty on the the plates and tasty as. Thank you to the chef, we love the bowls club & come often.the new menu will definitely inspire us to return more regularly

Great “pub grub” food. They were able to cater to both my and my grandfather’s dietary needs. Service was friendly and the drinks were cheap. No need to be a member to dine there. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Bairnsdale for a short stay and our host recommended the bowls club.
Excellent choice! Very nice meals and great staff.

Beautiful dining area, light and bright and staff very accommodating. Meals are smaller than average and comparable to same prices in venues also in Bairnsdale. Porterhouse steak was sliced like a fillet of fish and presented same so very disappointing. Roast meal was two slices of meat no bigger than 4cm in diameter. In fact, we thought we had made a mistake ordering s child's serve, also disappointing. Then on the flip side the fish of the day was adequate

Drink prices are reasonable. As expected meal prices are up but I feel that you don't get as much value in the meal. It didn't fill me up.

Very nice dining area, good and pleasant service and reasonably priced menu. Quiet lounge area a good place to meet friends for lunch. Easy parking outside premises.

Have recently joined lawn bowls there and thoroughly enjoying everything about the place. The staff are very friendly, courteous and efficient. The foods beautiful and the prices are good and it's a hop step and a jump from my front door.
