I had an amazing experience at Bailey Nelson Southland. From the front desk lady who performed my eye scans and assisted in selecting great frames to the great optometrist who tested my eyes and gave clear explanations regarding my results.
Well done on an amazing experience and will see you all again when I require eye tests and glasses.

I’ve been coming here for at least a couple of years and BN staff always provide excellent service. Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I love the range of spectacle frames and sunglasses including the quantity as having a large variety can be overwhelming and time consuming when you’re selection new glasses. Qualities are simple, durable and funky and I also love the minimalistic and the aesthetic environment of the shop too that brings a sense of nature. Thank you BN staff!

I have been to Bailey Nelson on Chapel Street and it was terrible service, it made me hesitant to try the Southland store but it was hands down the best experience, everyone was so kind and helpful, the optometrist explained everything clearly and was a great experience. So if you’ve had a bad experience in the past, give these guys a go

Two pairs of my glasses from here have broken twice in a year and a halfish, really disappointed as I chose to stick with Bailey Nelson as my eye specialist said I have to stick to just one optometrist. I went with this brand over competitors Oscar Wylee and Specsavers because I thought they were slightly more upmarket and therefore better quality, and the styles are nice…. However extremely disappointed by glasses have broken twice (barely applying pressure and only lightly polishing them) and to make matters worse, they weren’t very accomodating when I wanted a new thicker and sturdier looking style…. Only really offering me the same style covered under warranty as a replacement (the style I wanted to replace was going to cost me hundreds extra). If this new pair breaks again, I will be extremely disappointed and my eye specialist will be frustrated that I change optometrists yet again…. Pls work on improving your quality and replacement warranty conditions….

I was just browsing the store when I saw an eye test sign, my partner looked at me and said, you should get them tested. I thought, why not.
So we booked an appointment on the spot with Kersh. To say I was impressed was an understatement. He looked after me so thoroughly with class and an extreme professionalism, I felt like I was so well looked after and not only did he help me with getting a prescription but he also said at the end that this is why he does his job, to help people. My eyes are nothing short of useless and after seeing Kersh I’ve instantly been able to see fine details of every day things. I remember looking down at the lines in my fingers and being so shocked at seeing such details and seeing the fine scratches on my watch hahah. The over all experience was great and I can’t recommended Kresh highly enough, such a general man and will take good care of you

I was very impressed with the service and Sofia the optometrist was extremely professional and explained everything clearly.

The optometrist who examined my eyes was incredibly knowledgeable and great at giving me the information I needed to walk away with a thorough understanding of my eye health. The staff in store were also helpful at assisting me to better understand what I needed to select frames in accordance to my script and the cover I had from health insurance policy. I discovered Bailey Nelson 6years ago and have been incredibly happy with their frames, price point and staff so I have no need to go anywhere else.

All staff at Bailey Nelson are highly professional people. As in my all previous appointments they showed expertise, care and efficiency.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, I spoke with 4 people during my visits to the Southland store and all were very helpful. Great quality product and committed to ensuring my glasses fit well and felt comfortable. I had previously gone to OPSM regarding them as quality competitor but I repeatedly struggled to get any assistance let along an acknowledgment that I had walked into their store.
An excellent customer service experience all round from BN.

Staff were wonderful and knew what they were talking about. Excellent customer service. Had such bad experience with a different company who were incompetent and service was terrible. So happy with my new glasses and they only took less then two weeks to get made. Highly recommend and will be a regular customer from now on.

2019 - Excellent customer service. Incorrect prescription was no drama and amended quickly. The frame range is on trend and after one week, receiving heaps of compliments! On line sales also worth a look. I bought a second pair for $70.2021 - Just bought my 5th pair of BNs. Love ‘em! The optometrist was very caring and was able to answer my questions about eyesight and chemo. The staff were was helpful as ever and collection was easy as pie!
