Badger Weir Picnic Area reviews
39Beautiful spot for a Punic and Paddle. BBQ, Picnic tables and Public toilets all well maintained. Highly recommend a visit for lunch
Beautiful spot for picnic and spending a day. Badger weir has a small picnic area and has 3 walking tracks to badger weir from picnic area. All the tracks are easy walk of about 1.2-1.4 km long. One of the track is a bit steep. All the tracks are extremely beautiful but I loved the one via lyrebird! Would love to go there again and spend full day there!
What a beautiful place to visit. We have been frequent visitors over the years. It never disappoints. If you like to see beautiful scenery amongst the enormous trees, wildlife aplenty and tree ferns along with Badgers Creek as a central attraction, it is a must see place.
Good place for family. The entrance road after the gate is very bad and not maintained properly by the authority. Full of pits so there is always possibility that your car will be damaged. Once you cross that good hike and people with limited capacity can also enjoy.
Very nice place full of natural beauty. Parking, outdoor BBQ, shade, public toilet available for outdoor fun and eating.
I love the open space and my dog's love swimming after the duck's, good luck if he ever gets one.
Love this place, it was raining today but it's got a lot of potential for a great picnic and walk though the ferns
One of the most beautiful forested areas in Victoria. BBQ facilities and toilet facilities in site and plenty of seating both in the clearing and under rotunda shelters.
Beautiful spot for a picnic and a stroll. There is a path starting at the back of the carpark that is wheel friendly and not too difficult for families. The weir itself is for viewing at the end.
There is a lovely stream near the rotunda that you can dip your feet into.
One of many very beautiful spots around Healesville area. Great for a bushwalk, or just relax by the water. There are also electric BBQ's. And good thing is, No Dogs Allowed in Park.
What a magical area, great seating and has seating undercover and and beautiful creek connected to a lovely path and trail to walk.
It was a nice place for all ages to go and the creek in parts was shallow enough to go for a splash on a nice day, kids can play in the water or go or go along the nature walk, we will definitely be back.
The only issue was the road leading to the top car park is absolutely terrible and full of really big potholes and a very skinny road so you have to be very careful Driving especially if somebody is coming down the other way.
Huge picnic area with many tables, shelter, and electric bbq. Nice short track along the creek definitely beautiful and fun.
What a spot! Not nearly as busy as similar locations. Great walking track, so tranquil. The picnic area looked good and the rocky river perfect for some adventure.
Excellent picnic spot. Lovely bird life. Watch out for the low rocks borders of the parking area which will scrape the under surface of your car.
This is such a lovely oasis in otherwise very dry country. Popular with birds and people! We took the lyrebird track, sadly did not see any lyrebirds, but enjoyed the wilderness and nature. We waded in the creek near the picnic area along with others escaping the 37C day! We saw a lot of crimson rosellas and some cockies as well.
Very peaceful place to enjoy a picnic lunch and just enjoy the world as God intended it to be. Plenty of parking and a public toilet available.
A great spot for a family picnic and a short walk. Can get very busy, so plan to be early if you want a table.
Truly an amazing place with running creek in the vicinity, there plenty of parking spaces and a public toilets.
Heaps of parking, absolutely amazing small hikes with rainforest board walks. Tonnes of area for picnics and all that. The river runs through the park and it's bloody beautiful, amazing river stones. There's a few small waterfalls. Majestic AF
