Bad Shepherd Brewing Co. reviews
13Good selection of food and excellent on tap beer options. Nice little spot. Clean, good aircon for indoor diners, nice deck if you like a bitta sun.
Great food, great beer and just an easy place to sit and eat. Don't know why I haven't said so sooner
Disappointing that yet another brewery feels like they can serve food that is overpriced and the bottom of the bag quality. We ordered the wings which were practically meatless and curly fries which literally looked as though they were from the bottom of the bag. $40 worth. Can’t say anything about their beers however - but food wise, we won’t be back
Staff were very inviting. Nicely priced beer and tasting paddle. 50c chicken wings on Wednesday's is a seller! 100% visiting again.
Great beer and bbq food. Burnt ends were a treat. Chicken wings superb. This is a manly place so no deserts. We had another round of chicken wings instead. Also good service. Manager treated me like a rich uncle with no heirs.
What an amazing venue. Plenty of seating with two great outdoor areas. Super helpful and friendly staff and of course, an outstanding selection of quality locally brewed beers. Get off your a$$ and get down to Bad Sheppard. The Passionfruit Sour will knock your socks off. Food menu looks excellent, especially if you like pork. Updated review when I eat here.
Great food, lovely staff. I went in for lunch with my service dog, staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious.
I first came here four years ago and was pleased to see it has just gotten better
Great Pub. The Drinks are all very unique and interesting and the food was incredible. Very relaxed environment and great service too. Would recommend.
Great atmosphere, vegan options among other great options. I was recommended the wings by another customer which says something about their service.
Great American BBQ food. Good selection of beer, in particular the specialty beer which is always interesting to try. Good space to have a drink overlooking the brewhouse
Ambience was great and food was tasty. Interesting selection of beer, but could improve on the soft drinking options available.
Went there with my wife last night and enjoyed a couple really nice beers but I have to say I was pretty damn disappointed in the brisket and jalapeño poppers we ordered. Food took over a hour just for those two dishes and the brisket was luke warm and dry as heck and not cooked very well. The jalapeño poppers were just mush in a deep fried batter pretty much. Overall not great compared to the last time I went there. The strawberry milkshake IPA was outstanding on nitro and I really enjoyed the new world ipa too.
I would usually not make a bad review but after the last two experiences here I would not be able to recommend it to anyone.
Used to be a local here with a group of friends but the atmosphere has grown more and more hostile over the last year. For example over the weekend I approached the bar excited to try some new beers as I had not been in a few months, I asked the lady what new beers were on tap and she just pointed to the wall and said “the taps are on the wall”, taken back I thought maybe she thought I asked for all the beers, so I again said are there any new beers or guest taps on to which she threw a beer menu on the bar and told me the list of beers was on the bar. As someone genuinely interested in beer and local brews I was quite disheartened, especially after this was not the first hostile encounter with this staff member. What once seemed to be a laid back environment has now been spun into an uncomfortable setting, we were even ushered out of our table! We didn’t even have time to unwind before being told we had to move on. I think the bad shepherds need to look at their team as they are letting the flock down.
