I love Back to Basics. The atmosphere of this well-stocked store is incredible - warm, welcoming and friendly. All the staff are friendly and professional, but Jaz makes you feel like a friend she has know for year - she really is the heart of the store!
This is a place where there is something for everyone - from spiritual needs to quirky gifts.

My favourite shop for tarot/oracle decks & candles! Staff are friendly and so much to see in the store, can easily spend hours in there.

This store has everything you need for fantastic gifts the are out of the normal. Lots of great books and art, as well as jewellery at reasonableness prices.

A true hidden gem, there is something for everyone! The store may seem unassuming from the street front, but you'll be surprised once you step inside. They have never ending rooms of crystals, books, oracle hards, decorations, ornaments and jewellery etc. A great place to shop for yourself and others! I've been visiting this store for many years and I keep coming back for their crystals. The staff are knowledgeable and are always willing the help. I find that Back to Basics' range of crystals is unrivalled in terms of of quality and pricing! If you're wanting to add to your crystal collection, make sure you go upstairs, I could honestly spend all day there!

Amazing prices, if you're looking for affordable but gorgeous crystals, Back to Basics is absolutely unmatched for their prices and their variety of crystals, with a giant room upstairs dedicated to crystals at excellent prices. There is no store that quite matches the peaceful, homey and accepting vibe that this store has created through their lovely and kind staff, calming environment, and beautiful and well priced items. Cannot recommend it high enough for anyone who loves crystals, tarot, and anything spiritual!

Unfriendly. Abrupt. Impolite. Disrespectful. Why bother running a customer-facing business if you don’t like customers? ! Might be time to close the shop and try focussing your efforts on wholesale or online. Because customer service is clearly not natural to you. At all.

Would be such a great shop if their was different workers there. Completely rude to people who had reasons to not wear a mask. Immature people apart from the older lady.

I've ordered decks and essential oils during the pandemic and even with the post taking weeks from Altona this deliver by post was here 3 week days after ordering.
The decks are just beautiful and I'm glad I ordered.
