Bacchus Marsh Medical Centre reviews
19When did doctors become soleless! Made an appointment with Dr Sumaya Zaz for a longer appointment to discuss a annual health check but didn't get that far! Was rudely interrupted while telling her what id like to check for "i am not taking on any new patients" so you could clearly tell she was listening to me, went on and on to say this over and over again and he i am wondering why am i here if this medical professional doesn't want to here about my medical concerns that i have to pay $160 for a double session! Also when i asked why am i here then, got a reply i don't know. Please if any one can recommend a doctor who cares about others as according to the oath they took please let me know as i am sick of entering a doctors office and made to feel like i am interrupting or wasting their time as they just as quick shove me out the door. All other services in the world get audited, Do they? Took a day off work and traveled an hour to get no where! No wonder we see all these latest movies and tv series of doctors abusing the system! I guess all they want i for some one to walk in say "i need a medical certificate for a day off" type it up and move on to the next medicare number that pays them $40 every 5 minutes. So disappointing that we cant even relay on our medical professionals for an ear! What if i was suicidal, had chest pains or numbness down my body, didn't want to hear it! Nope all that matters is that i have they keep those medicare numbers flowing! Provided no real work needs to be done.
I have a sick boy at home with a cgest infection. Spoke to Amanda this morning and she said they have plenty appointments.
We are house sitting for 3 months in Bacchus marsh and was told by them as we aren't permanent residents we can't use the clinic.
Amanda said we should go to the hospital. I think its ridiculous to tie up an emergency room for a chest infection and need for anti biotics. I think Amanda needs a little more training to help her understand not to direct people to emergency room when its not an emergency.
Private clinic that is run poorly. I choose a private practice and am happy to pay but the service is always poor. Get better service at a bulk billing clinic.
The doctors are great, just managed poorly.
I've just received a phonecall from reception 40 minutes before my appointment to inform me that my online booking was cancelled,
I've taken the day off work to attend to this appointment yet the doctor will not take new patients,
Please be aware of this when you make an online booking as your appointment maybe cancelled too, and wasted a day without work,
I don’t recommend this medical centre, yea I get that this is a different world but you are over the top! My daughter is an asthmatic (coughing is her sign of an attack) and you made us wait outside like lepers! Of course she doesn’t have Covid! We are very particular and probably one of the few that still test every couple of weeks regardless of symptoms, and the receptionist has a bad attitude! These receptionists are the face of your business and having rude mannerless staff makes people not want to attend.
Not only did my GP gaslight me for 2 years about a chronic illness, but they charge you if you want to get copies, digital or paper, of your OWN medical files. Absolutely ridiculous. I now can't access my own medical files from them because I'm too sick and can't afford the ridiculous amount ($100+) they want to charge me. I even asked if there was anything that could be done, any kind of help, and nothing. If you ever have anything more than just your run of mill general medical issues or want copies of your files, avoid.
1 stop shop for all your body's needs from GP to specialist great staff and a few locations around bacchusmarsh
The doctor ripped me off, wouldn’t fill out a full fit to work medical and requested blood tests for proof of immunisations. Then wouldn’t do anything further with the paperwork he will continue when the tests come back for proof. Wouldn’t even fill the other questions out. Then I still got charged $120 when half the job wasn’t even done. Then the rude receptionist who offered me workplace legal advise and financial advise. A really great visit all up. I’m out of pocket $120 for half a medical and will have to pay someone else to do the rest
I have going to bmmc for over 15 years and for 10 years traveling from Ballarat to see dr madhanpall He is the best.
Always had good service from all staff and nurses
After the rudeness of the older lady at reception who was rude on many occasions, I Have now changed GP clinics. Asked for my records to be transferred over and they only sent two pages. Have been going there for nineteen years so have a fairly lengthy history. Get rid of the rude staff at reception and you won't lose patients
You book an appointment and at the best if your really lucky and I mean lucky you may get in on time but at the moment I have had to wait an hour or more to see doc, I make an appointment around my commitments and thus isn't first time it happens
40+ minutes waiting to see the nurse 3 other people waiting for the nurse as well.absolutely ridiculous.
Goodness knows how many years visiting BMMC. I have always been treated wonderfully by Staff on Reception, Nurses & Drs. My Dr Mr Alexander was wonderful, he has left & now see Dr Naidu. These two doctors have a wonderful attitude, caring, thoughtful & efficient. Yes there have been ups & downs over many years, but on the whole, very satisfied. Sometimes you might have to wait, but have a thought for Drs, when patients condition might be serious & they take longer! Nurses are busy but I've always been attended to quite promptly. Maybe patients need to have right attitude, to Reception, Nurses & Doctors, we are only human,
Pethetic clinic
I don't recommend anyone to go
I booked my appointment in December and when I went in end of Feb
Doctor asked me $50 his fee which was never discussed by anyone.
Staff is inexperienced and not trust worthy
I don't recommend anyone
Thumbs down to "Katie" - she seems to work upstairs but thinks she runs the place. Very rude - get some customer service skills!
Waited just over four hours to see a doctor last night in their emergency area, I ended up leaving as the nurse blatantly laughed in my face and showed no compassion or integrity saying there isn't enough space for me whilst there was an empty bed in plain sight behind her! I would have been happy with some sort of diagnosis in the waiting room even, i worked 12 hours so I wasn't in the mood to argue. I'm not the only one who left after waiting for nothing by the way, others left without treatment before me as well. Including a gentlemen who seemed to have a sprained ankle and was grinding his teeth in pain the whole time. There is a lack of initiative with regards to the waiting room, check in on these folks once in awhile, offer water, something please even a hello. I feel very disrespected and i feel ashamed of our health care system in this country.
Dr Jecelberth Canillo who joined the clinic recently is a great asset for this clinic.
I travel 60km from Melbourne to see him.
Really professional with his great approach and a smile on his face.
Great experience overal.
Great doctors and people at reception, but they need to let their patients know that the Doctor might charge you a fees and it is upto the doctors discretion and no one mention that to me when I made an appointment. First two visits they did not charge anything, it was bulk billed, and I was under the impression they bulk bill. Third visit they are asking for $60. Its not the money but they need to gives heads up to their patients. Very disappointing behavior of the receptionist when I tried to address this issue, they did not care or take responsibility.
Good family medical centre, skilled GP doctors and nurses. Helpful reception staff. Many doctors rostered catering for widespread needs & specialist skills. Brilliant acupuncturist fixed my whiplash.
