Ayam Penyet Ria reviews
59Traditional and truly delicious Rawon just like l enjoyed for 5 years living in Indonesia.
The food is fine there’s nothing wrong with it. But I had to sit and wait for 30 minutes for a takeaway order. No one said “it’s going to take x amount of time” nor did they give me any updates. Extremely slow. If you’re in a rush or on a lunch break unfortunately I do not recommend.
3rd time i made an uber order and they conveniently forget to send and include the rice with the delivery.
My wife and I always a big fan of Ayam Penyet Ria. Despite it is in their South Melbourne or in other branches.
This review is specifically for the Noble Park branch. Shout out to their great service they have provided eventhough they were understaffed on Friday evening 10/11/2023.
Yen, one of the team member, she has been kindly advised all costumers on that constraint while maintaining a good customer service. At the end of day, the meals still came pretty quick for that situation.
Well done team!
Well done to my friend the owner ‘H’ for creating a great culture
First time coming here and the foods we ordered were very delicious! We ordered ayam penyet with sambal terasi, rawon, and es cendol. I kid you not, I'm very satisfied with the taste of everything. Worth coming here to have delicious Indonesian authentic dish!
The taste of Indonesian food is really recommended for those who miss Indonesian food in Melbourne, with friendly service, the location is very close to Noble Park Station
Wow really delicious fried chicken and the chilli paste. Omg.
Definitely coming back.
Excellent food, generous portions, great sevice.
The belacan is very spicy hot but very yummy
Used to run Esteller 77 in the city back then and this food just reminds me of the old times. Great food and service and I recommend it to everyone who wants to try some indo food!
Recommended Indonesian restaurant. I ordered ayam penyet (crispy fried chicken, tofu, tempeh, spiced crumbs, sambal terasi). Really autentic taste!
The best spot to get the famous Indonesian Ayam Penyet! The taste and flavours are very authentic, and the sambal is delicious and spicy. Me and the wife always find ourselves coming back here craving it.
I am a regular here at Ria. Always love to have Ayam Panyet with side Rawong (Beef soup) and Terong (Eggplant). If you love authentic Indonesian food, you must definitely try it out!
Awesome food. My wife had the fried chicken and I had the grilled chicken. Both were delicious. We also had Dadar Gulung, the dessert. It was so good, reminded me of my mum's cooking.
Nice food. But for the price no way worth it. They increased price so wont coming back. Items on menu dont include rice, so with rice- extra $3 which will come down to $17-20 for each meal. Such a shame.
Public holiday surcharge & eftpos surcharge without mentioning on the bill, Staff not reasonable and rude.
I went with a friend for lunch today as our Favourite Malaysian restaurant was closed. It was a ghastly experience. Flies were roaming around on the table, we had to ask one of the staff to wipe the table clean. The dining area was also used as a storage area, boxes stacked up by the wall. As if that was not bad enough, one of the the plates that the food was served in, had a rusty egde/rim! Food was cold and the salad was made up of old vegetables, you can tell. They had some sort of a “dumb robot” to deliver our order, and you could tell that they were quite dirty looking, never been wiped! The cost of the meal was over the top as the food was worst than mediocre! Never again would I go there. The owner should start thinking of the cleanliness, ESP.in the current situation!
Beef was dry and crispy chicken fillet was not crispy at all. Prices have increased a fair bit ($3 per dish) yet the quality has dropped: (
One of the best indo food in melb! The chilli taste very authentic and spicy! Will be back x

I get duck too dry and sometimes chicken penyet ok sometimes too salty, sambal ok though but the price they put extra on public holidays.
Ordered dinner as takeaway for my cousin's bday and did not disappoint - decent portion sizes, well flavoured dishes and all delivered properly.
