Overall a reasonable experience but be mindful that you will not be allowed entry if you do not call and book in advance. The owners will record your personal details and require a deposit of $30 per person. The deposit is non-refundable but comes off your total bill.
This requires each person to pick at least 2 kgs of berries each to recover the deposit. Already picked berries are $20 per kilogram.
If you’re looking for the best quality berries at the best price available, don’t bother picking here. The berries are seconds that do not get sold in store. Your best bet is to purchase from a grocer or supermarket when the berries are on special (~$15 per kilo).
If you’re looking for a fun time and enjoy being out in the sun and picking berries and will pick at least 2 kilograms per person and don’t mind seconds, it’s worth your time.

Very nice management and amazing Berry bushes with different sections and different types. Really enjoyed my visit here and the friendly owners with an exciting drive back up the hill. Will be returning:)

We love this place!
The owner has amazing knowledge, the produce is delicious, and you get a great workout climbing back up the hill! All jokes aside, this family business is a hidden gem in the Dandenongs

Hi guys. I work at the farm and certainly all races are welcome including Asian. The reason people get turned away on a hot day is because the fruit may be damaged, already picked off in anticipation of the coming heat and not least it’s quite dangerous to have a large group of people in the sun. Often people fall ill and dehydrated out in the field. The farm has existing relationships with some groups. I suspect on the day Eagle6868 came, one group which had a prior booking and is a priority picker group was allowed to pick. These groups can be “set and forget”, are well know to the farm, family friends etc.it may Also have been that group started early and was finishing up and the temperature had risen too high to except any new pickers for that day? Im not sure.we always suggest pickers arrive at 8am when the farm is coolest. Usually bookings are contacted and informed of closures and warned of weather patterns. Irregardless the farm does not discriminate on race and would like to see any new customers from any background come and experience the berries. Hope to see you next season.

This fruit farm offer `U Pick' but when I was there with some Chinese friends, the owner refused to let us in saying the weather is not right. However, we saw some Caucasian tourists in the U Pick farm. Is this a descrimination or the owner being Racist?
