29 The facilities could do with some upgrading seats and shade near the food areas would be good
Somewhere to just sit as you eat please
The place for pace, and it never disappoints!
Any fan of speedway should have this on their list of tracks to attend as the tight bull ring produces great racing night after night.
There are plenty of amenities, food outlets and the opportunity to get into the pits and check the cars out and meet the drivers.
Bring a comfy chair, even your own food and drinks (no glass or alcohol) and enjoy a night full of thrills and spills.
It is a great night out for the family and anyone who likes to get up and close to Motorsport.
I love it here. The family have been going to speedway since.well, since before coloured TV (the 1970s). Was at the 2023 President's Cup last night and it was a ripper even though the track had suffered 35mm 24hrs before AND they did a 'silly' A, B, and C main allotment (random allocation). The track held up though three of the T cars crashed in the A main. Free pits 330-430pm is fantastic. Props to Avalon Speedway for great gig always. Packed crowd, no rowdiness and everyone polite and orderly.
Great race night. First of the season saw some great racing.
Great night out with the family.
Definitely needs toilet up grade near turn 2. Not much to choose from with there food, as it is over priced.
More of a family event than a place to bring your mates and have a beer, only if u want to sit in their bar where u can't see the race and a 5 minute walk to smokers area. I recommend Timmis raceway mildura
Just saying it would be nice to have a dedicated drinking zone so I can enjoy the race and a fresh beer I've been once and never again until I can watch a race with a beer
First time here for easter trails and it is the best thing i have ever experienced and this is the first race track event i ever have gone too.i am going to this track again and im hoping to race here as a driver in the future
Haven't been here for years, well worth having a look. Great entertainment for everyone who likes 4 wheels and a motor.
Hot food and coffee available during the arvo and evening, cash is best as little eftpos. Don't forget to take a chair. Alcohol can be purchased and consumed at the Bush bar but no BYO and they check bags and eskys on the way in.
460 will blow your mind how a car can corner that quick and pull wheelies on the straights. Costs the team about 1k a lap
Had a great time at the burn out comp. The venue needs more undercover areas for when it rains.
A ripper place. Has a character all of it's own. Great racing when the track has two grooves. And the pit canteen has cheesy hotdogs for $4.50 and is the main reason I get there early.
Great place for the whole family to go and enjoy, fast cars what an adrenaline rush, love the smell of the fuel and mud in my hair
Very Fun and Alot of entertainment for the whole family. Not a 5 star only because some patrons don't know how to hold their alcohol when coming back from the bar. But no major issues alot of fun.
Always have an amazing family night out here watching speedway everyone enjoys in our family enjoys it
Good night of racing. Very good track. Only reason not 5 star as there's no timer/stopwatch or notice board for spectators to see results like other raceways
Why do drivers have to pay for there own prize money, what happened to one driver and two mechanics getting in for free, you pomotorers have dropped the ball, give spectators what they want, excitement crash and bash, give drivers free passes so they can give to sponcers so they can invite people who have never been before, your only shooting your in the foot, wake up. Run making less profit and it may come back to you in the long run, I know you make more money from the pits than the crowd, get into the pits and give us those passes.
The place for pace, good easy access, great family fun, good idea to take a chair safety glasses and ear muffs, especially for youngsters, I love the smell, the sound and the dirt.
WOW. First time and i am so impressed!
The parking is great, admission prices are so reasonable, (ALL families can afford to take their kids to Avalon Raceway, which is such an importabt factor), merchandise is priced to cater for all budgets.they even sold race flags that were assembled by hand, which would have taken time, for only a dollar. There were ample and clean amenities. Fantastic food vans. Visibility is great from everywhere; whether you are up the back, or right in front of the action, getting spattered with dirt off the track from your favourite driver.
The drivers then stick around to chat with fans, sign autographs, and show off the cars, and AWESOME team transport trucks.
I believe there is nowhere else like it in the world.
I'd give a rating of ten stars if i could. Thank you for the awesome memories
Vroom, vroom! Speedway is awesome, especially the little tackers, they race like champs, the lot of them.
Great family fun, but as per usual at places like these the food and drink asking price is enormous. Take a second mortgage
