Decided to come up for the weekend for a bit of R&R from Melbourne to Yarrawonga. Coming to avalanche ice creamery turned my getaway from good to amazing, great ice cream and the service from the staff was incredible. I’ll definitely be driving up again and making this my first pit stop.
Great ice cream! Flat out busy but the staff were on the ball. Had a three flavour cup and it was very full and very nice! Well done to the staff on pushing through so many customers courteously and expediently.
I was absolutely delighted to find that this lovely ice creamery sells iced coffee! I’ve been struggling to find coffee after 3pm in town, so I was very excited to find iced coffee on the menu in this store. And very good iced coffee at that! They offer either vanilla or coffee flavoured ice cream in your iced coffee (and whipped cream), and on staff suggestion I tried it with coffee iced cream- it was amazing! The perfect drink to sip while sitting by the river on a hot Summer afternoon.
I was so pleased with my ice cream that I had to come back for a second one instantly. Best ice cream I have ever ate in Australia it was dead on the money!
Big ice creams, plenty to choose from, friendly staff, and very well priced ice creams. Great little shop gets 5 stars from me, and 5 stars from both of the kids also. Lol
Unfortunately just rude young girls in this shop, not a nice experience at all going here, would definitely not return!
I thought the price was good and the ice cream was fresh in-house made thick shake was actually thick and kids sizes very reasonable!

Gotta be some of the best icecream in Australia. Always packed with customers, I guess it's nice that someone's benefiting from climate change.
