Exceptional customer service. My 6 year old dual swing gate opener had problems. Saad and AP helped me resolve it via email, on the phone and at the Automation Plus premises. Both AP and Saad are very knowledgeable, clear and went beyond what I've come to expect. I have no hesitation in recommending Automation Plus.

The products they sell are good quality. Their technical support is excellent and on the 5 times I’ve purchased products from the team, they have been responsive and helpful. One small suggestion is that their courier they use takes a little longer than expected for deliveries from online purchases. Thanks.

I purchased a replacement for my 14 year old motor and circuit and used one of their recommended installers. We had issues from the start with the gate repeatedly and unexpectedly stopping. The installer was going to charge $300 for travel time and the first half hour to come back to our house. So I contacted the tech department of Automation Plus and Bob talked to me on the phone for over an hour with suggestions. Unfortunately nothing changed so he came to our house which is an hour from their Moorabbin store. He made various unsuccessful attempts for over 4 hours and also adjusted the magnet positioning and reprogrammed our old remotes. A few days later he emailed me with more suggested changes to the programming of the system which proved successful. Even though the whole experience was frustrating, I found Bob in their technical department to be very helpful and he went out of his way to ensure a successful outcome.

** that's 7 stars I recently had to contact their technical which was an easy process. Saad that I dealt with was excellent in his technical and personal skills. He systematically worked through the problem giving me plenty time to check each stage. He ended up sending me a mother board which fixed problem perfectly.he also followed to make sure every everything was working correctly after I fitted it. This is the best after sales service vice I have ever had.and I am spreading the word by word of mouth.

Purchased a double gate actuator kit from these guys. Family member had purchased a similar system before. Good communications, everything arrived on time. Top value, no surprises. Logical instructions. All went well. Had an issue some month later with a small part malfunctioning. They honoured the warranty and supplied a complete new actuator. No hassles.
Very happy to deal with an ethical company. Can totally recommend.

I have purchased an upgrade solar system, which did not work. They have charged me another $300.00 for a transformer with a promise of refund for solar system. After that they refused the refund, even though I have sent all components back. Avoid like a plague. Once things start going wrong do not expect any professionalism or care, they got their money and that is that.

I bought a house and inherited a system from the previous owner.
This was supplied by a local company and was forever breaking down.
So I ripped that out and got a system from Automation plus.
I'd have loved to have upgraded to 24v but that would have been a massive task given the site and solar installation.
Automation plus had a 12v system at a good price and was better than the old system.
After 2 years of truly horrid weather which caused debris on the tracks, the control board went.
I contact the guys and they gave me a diagnostic procedure, which confirmed the issue.they made sure that they'd identified the correct board and express posted it.
I had a few tech issues installing again due to the site which they rapidly resolved for me.
I also grabbed a long range remote which with the ext.ant.give me incredible range.
All up great folks to work with and a product that performs well at a reasonable price

I purchased a complete kit of two swing gate actuators, control box, four remotes, mains power supply. It arrived the next day.free shipping too. There was an issue with one actuator, and I was lucky enough to contact Tan in the support area. He made the warranty process so simple and straightforward. He organised a replacement actuator, responded quickly any time I emailed or called. He followed up on our agreed actions, and delivered first class support with a professional manner. Now the system is functioning well. I could not say one bad thing about Automotion Plus.

Had a problem with year old remote push buttons draining the batteries too quickly. Spoke to tech support at APC who identified the problem as shorting in the PCB probably due to moisture. They sent out replacement PCB's the same day and gave me good instructions on how to install them and reset the remotes.

I installed an Automotion Plus solar gate system over 6 years ago. It has worked ever since until the batteries became weak creating erratic behaviour. I installed new batteries and then the system would not respond to the remote controllers. Having checked out various things I was perplexed what to do next and didn't want to mess it up by inexpert fiddling around. An email enquiry to the company quickly put me on the right track and the problem was soon solved and fixed. Such a relief! I am impressed with the company's quick and helpful after-sales service so many years after the warranty had expired. Recommended!

Great range of products with friendly and helpful staff. But what impressed me more was the after sales service, technical support and hassle free warranty.

We have been looking for a gate motor kit everywhere. All other places were 3x the price of Automotion Plus, had 3x less options and installation by them was mandatory. Initially visiting the website, we were a little overwhelmed with all of the motor options and what would suit our particular gate. But we simply called the support number clearly advertised at the top of the page and within 1 minute had been answered by a knowledgable sales rep and recommended a gate for our system. We live in Queensland and it arrived in 5 days from Melbourne during COVID - amazing. We are not electricians but we were able to install the gate motor with the clear instructions provided. Since purchasing the motor we have also gone back and asked for recommendations of a magnetic lock - same excellent experience. We are just absolutely blown away by the prompt and knowledgable service from this company and are so glad we broadened our search to be interstate and not settle for a service we weren't looking for.
