I went to get replacement front door speakers for my 2015 Mazda CX5 with a factory bose sound system. I talked to " Dino" & "Steve" who were apparently the "audio specialists" in the store and suggested I go for a Kicker 6.5 inch component speakers system. I went ahead and purchased paying nearly $300. Intstalled only to realise that I could not get proper sound from the. I called mazda who informed me that there is no way to just change speakers in a car with bose sound system as it messes with the amplifier. I went back to Autobarn, talked to "Ben", who is apparently the manager. He was rude and dismissive, refusing to even apologise for making me through so much trouble. After plenty of argument, they agreed to take the speakers off and install factory speakers that I sourced elsewhere and said they'd refund me once that was done. Today I left the car, all functional to them to take their speakers off, only to be told that they can't refund the Kicker speakers as there's a 'crack' in the speaker drum. When I left the car with them, the speakers were fully functional, if there was a crack, it would show through the sound and sound would break. They've obviously done it while removing the speakers on purpose so they wouldn't have to refund me. I will be taking this further with VCAT. I would suggest any of you looking to get proper advice and equipment for your loved ride, to go anywhere but this place. It's full of incompetent, arrogant workers who don't know anything and are a nightmare to deal with if things were to go wrong.
Staff go out of their way to help with everything, my experience with the Cranbourne branch has been excellent. The manager has gone beyond the store policy with helping me.

Not very helpful at all.then when I mentioned it to the register operator… she mumbled a slight apology. I think Business will be taken elsewhere from now on. I am BIG on reviews… Credit where it’s due and all that!
Staff give wrong information about batteries. They take two days to charge a battery. Not a good service. And they have charge extra to install the battery without even saying it. Disappointed!
Great store, got a stereo system a while ago and the audio bloke was extremely helpful same as old mate mixing the paints 10/10
The staff member who help me was great, he checked everything that I needed and gave me good advice, eventually going to my vehicle and doing the job for me. Many thanks to the staff member. Highly recommend.

Friendly and responsible staff makes it a great place to buy car accessories. I was looking to replace my car battery there and got an excellent service. They also installed my battery at cost of 15$

Autobarn Cranbourne is fantastic, i normally deal with Mike out front to organise to get work done on my car, and Dan out back that does the work on my car is outstanding, im very fussy with my car, Dan runs through with me how the work will be done before anything gets done, these 2 boys will always get my business. 10/10 ️
A big thanks to Ahmit for fitting my headlights. I visited the store during my lunch break & desperately needed them done as both had blown out the night before. I was told when purchasing the globes that the store was short on staff however a quick call to the back & they were able to fit me in.
Manager Matt was really helpful to get my car’s led’s replaced and Absolutely legend named Amy helped me a lot too. Appreciate your efforts girl ️
All the staff looks like have a great time but they do not really bother to ask you how they can help. 3 sales people in the front 1 at the back, and 2 customers in the store. I spent 5 minutes there without anybody offering their help. Maybe I am expecting too much and should interrupt "the busy" staff.
