Auto Logistics moved my car from Perth to my home in Adelaide. They were very competitive re price and the service was exceptional. I was kept well informed, and my car was delivered to me within the estimated time frame. Thank you, Natalie, and Litsa,

It is the second time I book the service with this company, very disappointing. Huge contrast from the first one and made me compelling to write this comment as this company could not do anything to rectify any issue.

1) When I seek for a quotation, I have mentioned I am a returning customer as they promised they will offer a good price when I made my first booking. Turn out the price is the same as a new customer, only offer a $20 off after I bargain. Fine, I know the oil price has gone up and so still go for the booking.

2) The credit card payment gateway never work and so I have to ask for an invoice to make the payment. I paid immediately after the invoice is received and by Oslo, they should receive the money immediately. Unfortunately, on the afternoon of the following day, they called me and said they cannot make the booking for whatever reason, then the price gone up another $200. I have no choice as I need to confirm everything immediately.

3) While the price may really changed rapidly and they may not the person to be blamed. Two weeks later after everything set, I have noticed the date that I have book to drop the car is a public holiday and my plan was to take a midday flight the day after. For some reasons, I won't be able to drop the car earlier. I called them again, then they realised that day is a National Holiday. So the option is either I drop the car after the public holiday, ie the day of my flight or changed the booking to pick up the car from my friend's house, or I change the flight. Either way, I lost another hundreds of dollar.this company mainly received booking and the outsource the delivery job to the carrier so organised the booking is their main task but still, they just provide the sub par service and if everything come up, they will only resolve the problem at the cost of the customer. Very very disappointing experience!

I was confident I had made the right decision to book my vehicle transportation with Auto-Logistics. They were very responsive and helpful in the enquiry and booking stage, yet after the vehicle was delivered damaged, they have not been responding. It is now 6 weeks since the delivery and there is no communication, let alone a solution. I feel let down by this company I trusted and am reminded every day when I see the damage on my car.

I have also just realised that they present themselves (on their website and communication materials) as a vehicle transportation company yet are only booking agents. In my experience this is ‘Sales but no service’ - as after payment is made, you are in the hands of a random transportation operator without being in a position to qualify that service provider.

I’ve made a costly mistake. Disappointed

————————
UPDATE:

Just a couple of hours after posting this review the transport company called me. They are stating the damage did not occur on the transportation of the vehicle. As you can see from the photo of the type of damage especially with the location the vehicle was placed on the truck it is avoidance of responsibility. This will soon be in the hands of automotive insurance experts who will clear up this terrible mess.

Our organisation booked transport for a van from SA to NSW. We were forced to do this due to border closures. At $3,000 it was a LOT more expensive than paying 2 staff to fly to SA and drive it home but we had no other option.

Upon booking we were told the van would be picked up in 5-10 days. It was picked up 4 weeks later!

During this period we called several times to ask when it would be picked up and delivered. At no point where they able to give us an answer. I don't understand how they cannot answer this question expect for the fact that it seems like they don't do any sort of planning.

It is now 6 weeks later to the day and we still do not have our vehicle. What's even more frustrating is they cannot specify a day for when it will arrive back. As the border is now open, we could have flown to SA ourselves and had the vehicle back a week ago. Our organisation will NOT use Auto Logistics ever again

Vanessa and Arron were super helpful when shipping my car from Canberra to the Gold Coast. They sent me updates and answered all my questions. They were able to organise everything quickly for me and get me my car just before Christmas which was super helpful. Thanks guys!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Charlotte during my transport. Oh. My. Goodness. Outstanding customer service doesn't begin to discribe how I felt dealing with her.
I had one of the longest routes (Cairns to Perth) and was quite worried with time. Charlotte made me feel assured the whole way through, from the initial booking, all the way across to the final depot. I actually called her back to celebrate it arriving!
I did think it would arrive slightly sooner than it did, but it was all within the eta time frame, even though there was flooding in and around Brisbane and a ramp up prior to Christmas.
Charlotte friendly voice really helped me through the stress, strain and all of the concerns.
Auto-Logistics was the only company I found that would organise transport with the back seats layed down (I have a station wagon. That's what the rear is for) and actually priced it a lot less than all of their competitors.
I'm not looking at moving my car this was again, but if I were, there is no where else I would consider booking with.
Ask for Charlotte. She really is the best!
Thank you Auto-Logistics. Thank you Charlotte. You guys are wonderful.

Had a great experience using Auto Logistics, we purchased a car in NSW……with imminent border closures and inclement weather we chose to freight the car to Melbourne……. Auto Logistics indicated I could have the car within 9-12 days…. The follow up was great…… we received our car within 8 days. Very reasonably priced and great Team Work
Thank you AUTO LOGISTICS

Auto Logistics were very professional from the beginning. The gave me an estimate of the delivery schedule and it went according to plan. The car arrived on time and in perfect condition right to my door. Thank you.

I hired them to transport my car and trailer from Sydney to Cairns. They outsource the freight to other freight companies and this causes all sorts of issues.

After a lot of calls, I finally got them to pick up my car and trailer from a freight company. Their subcontractor called me one day asking me if they could chuck a roof box into my box trailer. I told them that was not possible because my trailer doors were locked. I believe they tied the roof box in front of the toolbox on my trailer's drawbar causing some damage to my paint and spare wheel cover.

It was supposed to be dropped off at a Cairns depot but their cowboy subcontractors dropped it off at a Cairns airport parking lot that I had to pay $65 before I could claim my car and trailer.

These people are simply horrible to deal with. I would have done this myself if not for the QLD border closure.

Thank you to all who helped deliver my Can Am from Dandenong to me in rural Victoria. Everyone I dealt with were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. When a time or date were told to me then that was when it all happened. Well done Bike-Logistics.

I couldn't be happier - especially Charlotte. My arrangement was Door-to-door from Sunshine Coast to Melbourne, and even in Covit and Border restrictions my BMW took 9-business days to arrive. Excellent service from the delivery teams too. Thanks all involved, Gavin Becker

I leave my car on 21 of July on Brisbane cooper plain for canberra and they send me quotes for 8-10 business days. So now it has been like 13 days and they are telling for next week. Even don’t know when. I call them and they are telling canberra we don’t go usually so we need order to go canberra and what about my car. Really frustratingly. Still waiting for next week. If I did not get the car have to do police case about this.

I booked to have my car transported from Melbourne to Perth on 20/11/2020 and was informed that it may take 18 – 28 business days to arrive.

On 24/11/2020 I was informed that Auto Logistics had confirmed with the carrier a 10-business day turnaround.

On 30/11/2020 I dropped my car off, still under the impression that as per the most recent email on 24/11/2020 I could be expecting my car to arrive in Perth by 14/12/2020 (10 business days). Based off the information directly provided in this email from Auto Logistics I chose to drop my car off on the 30/11/2020 and pay $500 for a hire car for the week, to ensure the car arrived in Perth the week of 14/12/2020 as I was due to start work the following week and was conscious of the COVID situation so wanted some leeway in case there was any delay.

I then received constantly conflicting information about when my car would arrive; there was always another excuse. We said up to 28 business days, oh no it was 28 business days PLUS when the depot closed for Christmas (even though my booking agreement specifically stated up to 28 business days including Christmas depot closures.)

On 18/01/2021 my car eventually made it’s way to Perth (33 business days later). When I went to collect it from the Depot, there was 192km on my odometer unaccounted for, my petrol light was on (which means the half plus tank of petrol I left in my car had been used and not replaced) and there was rubbish and other items in my vehicle that did not belong to me. Autologistics did not respond to me attempting to follow up with them about this via phone and email, and it was only when I submitted a formal letter of complaint that I received any response. When I did that, they point blank lied that I had been offered $100 in compensation that I for some reason rejected for a lesser amount? This literally never happened! Unsurprisingly they took zero responsibility for the fact that someone used my car without my authorisation and stole my petrol, referring to it as a ‘inconvenience’. An inconvenience that they conveniently hid from me, demonstrating once again that they cannot be trusted in any way.

There are so many companies out there, do yourself a favour and literally book with anyone else

Look elsewhere. I booked my 1972 VW online and paid.the next day they call me and say that i didn't tick a box on their clumsy quotation form that said my car was over 30 years old so i had to pay an extra $300. I had put the year model in so i wasn't trying to hide anything. So i asked to cancel the booking and get a refund. They then insisted that i would have to pay a $165 cancellation fee even though theyd not done anything more than make a phone call to me about my car. The manager then said hed reduce it to $82.50, thankfully mastercard cancelled the transaction and they received exactly what they were owed - $0.

DO NOT use this company.

Absolute scam artists!

Took a verbal booking from me over the phone, clarified not once but THREE times verbally the transport time for my vehicle would be 10 business days. They took my money immediately and then took 18 hours to send me the terms of my booking / booking confirmation.

The booking confirmation stated 18 to 20 business days! DOUBLE the transit time quoted.

I rang and spoke to a team member immediately, requested cancellation and explained I would not have booked had the transit time been going to double what was confirmed with me over the phone.

They told me they could cancel but would need to take $165 cancellation fee from my $994 booking. Not happy! Attempted to resolve direct and just couldn't get it sorted.

I'll be speaking to ACCC and Consumer Affairs about this company - I had to get a refund sorted through my bank.

Needless to say once I checked the reviews a little deeper online realised I'm not the first person they've done it to.

Be careful! Lesson learned.
SCAM ARTISTS!
AVOID!

Terrible communication and poor service (and that was even before they collected our vehicle)! The arranged date for the pick up of our vehicle came and went but no-one turned up to pick it up and no communication from them about the no-show. After calling them, they informed me they couldn't pick up the car until a week later and the delivery date would be extended by about 3 weeks (for a total of about 6 weeks from Melbourne - Cairns). After requesting a refund, they kept the $165 admin fee (no surprise there). It took more than 2 weeks to refund the money after more phone calls demanding our money back.
I change to CEVA Logistics who delivered our vehicle to Cairns in a week.

I am very pleased with my experience with Auto Logistics. They definitely deliver on their promise to beat a cheaper quote, and I was thrilled with the results. It is tough to find a towing company that is open on a Saturday in Queensland and I am very glad they picked Rowdys Car Carriers who were more than happy to help, even beyond the usual call of duty with a free jump start. I would gladly use them again!
