Amazing work. Transferred VHS, CD and 8mm film to digital. 8mm in particular, was in very poor condition but he was able to clean up the film and transfer to digital. All at a very good price. Very efficient with time. Couldn't recommend this service more.

Gary did an incredible job restoring a handful of old family photos I had. The original photos were discoloured and some had been bad reprints which were blurry and very poor quality - Gary digitally cleaned them up and reverted them to digital files, as well as printing them onto high quality photo paper for me. The process was really easy and the cost was very reasonable. I will be using this service again and can definitely recommend Gary to anyone who wants precious old photos brought back to life!

I have had photos digitised, plus old Super 8 and Sony Handy Cam videos converted by others in the past but never with the care and attention to detail provided by Australian Photo & Video Restoration. From the earliest stage Gary was aware of how important these family memories were and took great pride in caring for and returning the originals. When I saw the finished product to say we were delighted would be an understatement. Ultimately the finished product took pride of place at my sons 21st. I will certainly return to Gary for more work in the future, and can comfortably refer others to trust their families precious photographs and videos to him.

It is so great that we are now able to watch all our old photos and videos together on our TV. Otherwise they would all have still just sat in our attic for many more years, collecting dust and continue to degrade over time. I gave Gary a 1947 photo which was damp, mouldy and half missing. Gary gave me a restored photo that looked as though it had just been taken.

Gary converted two old VHS tapes to digital for me. He surprised me by providing enhanced versions of the videos without my request and without any extra charge! The result was much better than the original ones. He is very professional, friendly and generous. It's been a real pleasure to get to know him and do business with him.

Gary was a pleasure to deal with, he was able to take a small photo of my late father in law and turn it into a lovely portrait, fast and top quality I couldn’t recommend APAVR enough.

We had a fire damaged photo from the mid-30s which we thought was beyond repair. But thankfully Gary didn't agree! And, to our delight, what a miraculous transformation he managed to achieve! The final version looked better than what probably would have been the original. Extremely good value for money, he kept us informed during the process and we have no hesitation in recommending him.

Gary was able to restore an old and rare photo of my parents. He suggested different effects to enhance the black and white background. Great work, will definitely be using APAVR again.
