Sergei at APA is an amazing teacher for my 10yo. Patient, kind and fun. Lessons are very well structured with a much higher focus on advanced learning than we had found anywhere else. We would highly recommend APA to anyone.

I studied with Sergei at the Australian Percussion Academy from the start of 2018 to end 2019.
Sergei has been a vital part of my growth as a percussionist and performer, helping me through VCE and getting accepted to undertake a bachelor of performance at Melbourne University.

My son was a student at the Australian Percussion Academy for seven years, till completing his VCE Music Performance Exam in 2019. With a well-equipped studio, he had the opportunity to hone his skills in the various percussion instruments under Sergei’s professional guidance. Lessons not only emphasised technical skills but also the art of performance. APA enhanced the learning experience by offering opportunities for participation in eisteddfods, fun holiday workshops with fellow students and also workshops by world-renowned percussionists. My son undoubtedly had the best music education under Sergei’s tutelage.
