After being hugely disappointed by a different lighting shop, Graham and everyone at Australian lighting restored our faith. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and true to their word. A great range of lights and their pricing beat what we had been told was the cheapest. Highly recommend. Absolutely delightful experience. Thank you to Graham, Lucy and Tina!

A good lighting shop with lots of collections of lights, chandeliers. Affordable price and friendly staff. They have parking in front of shop. They are open 7 days a week. One of the items I brought from the shop was broken after couple of years due to my mishandling. But I reordered and was the best price in the market. Also they have deals and bargains. Recommend it to others.

I purchased several LED downlights and drivers 7 (!) years ago. Recently one of the drivers failed. I went to the store with the failed driver expecting the worse. The gentleman that served me couldn't have been more helpful. Even though they were extremely busy he found an identical driver for me. Thank you so much!

im quite often in there with some obscure light or fitting and they can come up with solutions to repair or refurbish when it can not be replaced

they also have a good range of high quality strip lighting
and have even made custom length 12v strip for my 4wd

I went to this shop today and the staff were so rude. The man who served me was not helpful and it was like I was a pain to help. When I asked where to pay I was told down the back. Where the older women who served me was even worse. I asked for a bag and was given one without a any help to put goods in the bag. If she smiled her face would crack. No one working there wearing masks as well. Very poor customer service. I will go to beacon lighting in the future to make. My purchases. It may be a little more expensive but customer service is always excellent.

We have always bought our lightings from Oakleigh. George has been wonderful with all lighting purchased. He is helpful advises when needed. He helped us when building. Took our plans and advised on many downlights we needed with both houses we built. We would not go anywhere else.
The owner is very nice too. We now need garden lights we will go there soon. Their range of stock changes and thats what we like.

After ordering and paying for a black light fitting, we received it after 6 weeks only to find it was a white light fitting that had been spray painted black. The sprayed paint covered all of the manufacturer’s specs and was chipped to show the original white underneath. Underhandedly and fraudulently presented to us as the factory black fitting we had ordered. Very disappointed in this deceitful act.

If I could give this company no stars I would. After waiting several months for my lampshades to arrive. The company did not respond to hardly any of my emails I had to chase them up a number of times. I then receive two lampshades completely different sizes. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Please don’t support this company.

Great little store in Oakleigh, staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Walked in with a busted LED down-light, dud in hand, they were able to match the light which was very reasonably priced - then sold me a bulk set at a discount. We've bought standing and bedside lamps from here as well - a huge range with many options; so it's very worth the while to drop by and talk about what they can do to help!

I bought 16 brightgreen downlights online from this shop. Sally took the order, gave me a discount for buying in bulk and I received my order in a week and it was package really well.

We are very happy we chose pendants from Australian lighting. We were overwhelmed by the fantastic price we got for the two pendants, all thanks to Graham the owner. We are super thankful and will definitely shop with you again. Tracey served us which was awesome as she was the one who I'd previously spoken to about pendant choices. Everyone in the shop was super friendly which made my experience here all the more worth it.
Only downfall on our part was we had forgotten to buy globes so we chose some that were very similar to the ones on the website at another store closer to our home. The pendants look absolutely stunning at night especially and really add a lot of glamour onto our home. Unfortunately i haven't taken a photo from the night. This photo does not do them justice but we are very happy with them. Thanks Australian lighting team in Oakleigh, we are so grateful!

Absolutely exellexcellent service from Georgie, this man saved me and my dad's renovation when we had no one that could help us. Georgie was one of a kind with is customer service, even showed up to the to house make our minds at ease that our lightning was in capable hands.

If you want to kill your family, then buy from them.the pendent light we bought from them was half way drop from the ceiling due the the major quality issue.and this store didnt accepte the faulty products and wont offer the refund? Seriouly? Good luck guys!
