I wrote this review not to belittle someone but as an honest feedback and for improvement. I was called for an absolute time waste of an interview wherein I have never encountered a more arrogant and aggressive recruiter in my life time. It took me 4 hours to drive to his office with my family. The name of the consultant is Ken Kale. He first accused me of not having a CV in a proper format. He was asking if I have recent relevant experience per client's requirements in hard coding (programming) PLC and I said yes. He doesnt seems to understand the technologies like Rockwell, ABB, SCADA, Schneider, Siemens etc. But he still insists that i dont have current skills for that. Instead he insists that I only have project management skills. He doesnt even bother to closely look into my CV where he will find that I have 25+ years of relevant experience. I even explained to him that Im certified Rockwell engineer with experience in FD, LD, IL, SFC but he looks lost when I mentioned this. At the end of our conversation, he said he wont put me forward for client because I dont have the relevant experience (programming skills) without even scrutinising my CV and listening to what I said. Before coming to his office, i even confirm to Ken Kale that I have those programming skills. On the positive side, he complemented that I dress well in the interview.
This is the first time I have this kind of experience with this incompetent recruiter. I will not come to this office again and I will tell to my colleagues and associates this horrible experience. Inspite of this, I sent Ken a thank you letter, as a courtesy. I would request the Managing Director/CEO to contact me if he needs more details. Again this is for your company's improvements. Thank you.
