Came in an hour before closing time today to complete a passport interview as I had been told by a staff member that it just needed to be within 15 mins of closing time. There were two other people in the store at the time of me lining up. I watched one older staff member with a condescending tone tell two people consecutively that she couldn’t help them with their requests. Her slogan seemed to be “someone else can do that, just not me”. And the other staff member told me they were too busy to do my application, but just genuinely seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. This was disappointing as I had come in after organising childcare based on a postal workers advice.

It would be great if you answer your phone rather than ignore a transferred call I could here you talking and typing other people can take your job if you do not want it

Always the most friendly and helpful service. I have recently had quite a few books redirected there rather than use home delivery as I have had to go to Melbourne, and the service, and level of notification, couldn't be better. It's really very good. Many thanks to the kind staff.

Even collecting a parcel is asking too much work of them. Definitely don't expect a smile, so disappointing that this is my local post office now

Worst for picking up a delivery the staff are fine but it's the leaving the note to pick-up a parcel getting there and being closed for whatever reason. Nobody notified at all today people get there's no power but if we're picking up a parcel let us know via text message before we have to travel to the post office only to be greeted by a we're not open sign. This has happened a multitude of times now.

Best auspost staff I have ever encountered. The ladies are lovely and always helpful. Very customer service orientated. I am pleased to have this as my local post office!

Extremely poor service reveived when attempting to pick up a parcel. Spoken down upon by the woman behind the desk in a condescending manner. I do not understand how a parcel which I was expecting and tracking number stated awaiting collection can just not be there and lack of care by employees is disgraceful. Avoid this business

Disgrace! Dropped an Express envelope in their box and two days later still hasn't been scanned.
The chain is strong as its weakest link and this post office is definitely super slow.
Put rude and arrogant service on top and you get the perfect disaster.
Will never deal with them again.

Apparently 'Express Post' actually means they will quickly deliver me a blue slip telling me I can go collect the parcel myself. What a joke.

Went in to collect a parcel that was authorized online to be picked up by me (ordered by my partner) and showed the lady the online ticket and she told me if he was the one who ordered it she needed to see him and his ID. I was so confused because this definitely didn't need to happen. My partner had to leave work today to pick up the parcel, and then asked if they made the right call turning me away. They lady that served my partner agreed that if I had my online ticket to authorize picking up someone else's parcel then they shouldn't need ID of the person who ordered it.

Why do most of these Aus post employees think they're better than the customers they serve? Went there today to pay rego, explained I'm now on a health care card so the payment wasn't the same as listed on my rego bill, began to show email from Vic roads confirming concession price. Was told by the guy " I don't need to see that, I need to see the amount which is usually on the bill". He told me Vic roads needed to send me a new bill! Asked him to try putting in the amount shown in the email, he said probably wouldn't work. Low and behold it did! The whole time this guy was condescending, telling me Vic roads puts concession price on bill. Aus post workers need to remember they don't know everything, sometimes customers have gone online to sort things out- prior to going to the post office to pay! If it wasn't for the easy parking and proximity to home, I wouldn't even go there.

Received a fragile box delivery on a blizzardly Sunday. Heard it being dropped onto the concrete from inside the house, just as I witnessed him doing across the road a couple of days prior. In response to my commiserations on working during a miserable Sunday, he responded with a comment about people buying shxx. Kmart packed excellently, but sure enough a platter and teapot were broken. Plenty of people are out of work, and need that guys job. Will update once I've spoken to Auspost.

Service is very hit and miss, last week the lady was so rude telling me my package wasn't there (yet she would even look for it), turned out of was there all along.

Rudest staff.had issues in the past and complained to head office where I was told I was correct and they would retrain staff. Tried to get paper work authorised & had to take in birth cert & drivers licience today and told my birth cert was not acceptable even though it was an official doc used before for passport, purchasing a home? Went to an agency told me he receives numerous complaints re Bakery Hill and the staff enjoy playing god. Finally got paper work sorted with no questions about my birth cert.
Will never steep foot in there again, disgusting service. Head office train staff on 101 customer service and understanding basic legal documents

Terrible queuing situation - some of the staff don't remember who you are even if you're in there 2 to 3 times a week.
