5 How lucky are we to have such a great Post Office in Blackwood with friendly helpful staff and great food and coffee as well.
A great asset for the town looking after the locals and the tourists seven days a week.
The team at the Blackwood LPO are amazing. Always friendly and smiling when we go in to collect parcels which is great since the postie picks and chooses which address will get packages delivered in the area (with mostly the choosing not to deliver).
The also have delicious treats available, fantastic coffee with locally roasted beans, gifts, Ballan Butcher meats, and so much more. It is a real high light for visitors coming or passing Blackwood yet are always there for the local community as well as an brilliant local store and they make Australia Post look good by helping out where the can. Carol, Martin and the whole team at the Blackwood LPO - Thankyou for being there for us.
What a great place! Freezing morning, sitting by the fireplace in this intimate little store, great coffee, really great food, and even better service.

The best toasted ham and cheese in the universe! Superb coffee by the folks at Karon Farms, a fascinating range of gifts and knick knacks, our go to for a quick Sunday drive. No flamingos to speak of though
