Great service. I asked if i could pick up some bricks 5 minutes before closing. Yes no problem.
Very poor customer service. Once they have your money they will make absolutely no effort to help you if you have a product issue. They will screw you around and ignore your calls until you are broken and have lost faith in humanity. Take your hard earned elsewhere!
As a regular customer I have always found Bob & staff at Austral Bricks Grovedale to be friendly and very helpful.
This is the only place in Geelong where you can buy small quantities of new bricks rather than having to buy a designated amount. Quite often I may only need 20 or 30 bricks as I specialize in repair work, everywhere else in Geelong has a designated minimum (usually a pallet of around 250).
Bob will even help you load them on your ute or trailer if you need a hand.
Recently while I was there to match some bricks, an elderly man injured himself when he hit his shin against the tow-bar of his truck.
Bob sat him down and quickly got a first aid kit, he then cleaned the wound and bandaged his leg.
Great old fashioned service and care, hard to find these days.
