On arrival on friday night 12th January2024, a lovely young waitress helped us, and then we asked if we could go upstairs, which she was happy to guide us, and it was our very first time at this place and our girls' night out. Yes, there was little confusion about the meals, but we got over that upstairs. Waitresses were so kind to help. Oh my, I can't get over this. All waitresses and securities were amazing - I don't know which words will describe them but the number 1 best team at this place.
In between, the manager female kept walking around, keeping an eye out on her all her staff's.
We even went in upstairs disco corner, and Holly, the DJ, came to say hi and thanked us as we were first there.
Even the crowd were so polite and they were well behaved.
Except around 1am, some misbehaved and securities slowly and quitely removed them.
Overall, we had one of the best times.
Surely, we will be back at this amazing place.

Great food, meals came out quickly, one very noisy person on nearby table but otherwise the atmosphere was fine. The Chicken Christina was tender and delicious.

The Aussie hotel is a fantastic place. The atmosphere is great, whether you are in the bar for a couple drinks or there to eat, you won't be disappointed. We ate there two nights in a row and would love to go back soon. Nothing was a disappointment.

The woman behind the bar was so rude, haven’t got the chance to order, we had to go because of her attitude.

The food is great. On a weekend the back of the pub turns into a club. This would be fine however the DJ seemed insistent on playing music from a minimum a decade ago. Would’ve been a good atmosphere from some current music.

A huge dining venue, with a reasonably decent menu thats priced on the high side of average.

Servings are huge, which makes up for the price. Saturday night features a live band, so The Aussie is clearly behind promoting local music.

Bookings for meals are vital, as they fill up really quickly.and that alone speaks volumes about the food!

Now.if you have special diet requirements, and need gluten free or vegetarian, options are on the menu. No needing to ask for special treatment.its there ready for you to choose from.

You will need a smartphone and credit/debit card to order, as all meals are ordered by using the QR code to access the menu. Be prepared, as this costs you $3.30 per transaction.

Wheelchair access is possible, parking is either on street, or in one of three car parks literally located around the corner.

As a pub for meals and entertainment. 9/10

Will I go back? Yep.

We held a private function upstairs. A great night was had. The staff were very obliging and friendly.

Great food, good choice of beers on tap with the footy on the big screen. Can't go wrong!

Ordered the garlic prawns it was amazingly delicious. Friends ordered steak & ribs which they also said was great.

Food was really good. One of the orders on our table never came through but once the staff amended that everything was great. Meat lovers pizza was good and very big.

Outstanding food, cold and refreshing beer, friendly staff and great indoor and outdoor areas to relax and socialise. Best pub In Shepparton that is for sure!

Had dinner here tonight, (29-3-23). Meals were A-MAZING! Bar staff were so nice, and the guy tending our tables to remove our empty plates was so cheerful and friendly. It all made our night Terrific. Dining room area we were in was in a quite zone for my son. Beautiful area. Fantastic service. Very happy night. The food was so tasty, and filling. I'll go back again for sure. Thanks for a great night to all staff there tonight. Xx

Our booking was made and it was a hot day, my husband had been working in the hot sun all day but we were placed out on the platform where the sun was on us completely so we were both sweating and we rushed our experience there in order to get out of there and out of the sun.
Apart from that it was great

Solid gluten free offering. I'm celiac and had zero issues. Food was delicious! We will be back!

Wow! Great food and great service! The owner went above and beyond to accomodate us. Garlic Prawns and Calamari dishes were delicious. Highly recommend.

We Were Absolutley Disgusted, It Wasn't Worth The Money At All & It Was Over Crowded & Not Enough Staff & U Couldn't Bloody Move & The Food Was Average, There Was No Consideration 4 " COVID " EITHER (NO SOCIAL DISTANCING) & WE HAD 2 STAND IN LINE FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG 2 GET A MEAL. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO ORGANISATION WHEN IT CAME 2 THE LINE - UP WHICH WENT OUT THE FRONT DOOR OF THE AUSSIE! & WE ALL ATE AT DIFFERENT TIMES & ISN'T CHRISTMAS DAY ABOUT FAMILIES BEING 2GETHER Celebrating & ENJOYING Each Other's Company? Because It Was Very Hard, Cause Someone Was Always Lining Up 4 Food!
WE WILL NOT B ATTENDING UR Restaurant Again On Christmas Day & The Organisers Need A Good Talking To. It Was Very Unprofessional & The Staff I Suggest Get Training Or Something Before Such A Huge Event

A couple of friends and my husband and myself booked into the Aussie for Christmas dinner. I have to say the food was great.
You had to stand in line to to serve yourself which is fine, I'm good with that but to stand in line for half an hour or more was ridiculous. No organisation at all. The seating was so overcrowded, l now know how sardines feel, way too many people. To get to your allocated table was a task. Very good dollars for the Aussie but a great opportunity to catch Covid or Flu. Christmas dinner at home next year.

Came our to Shepparton for a day trip decided to have punch at this establishment. I ordered the Aussie Beef Burger, hubby and I also ordered calamari which we never received?
Plus my Burger was soggy and stuck to the plate, at least the chips were good otherwise I would of walked away hungry.

Pretty awesome. We were seated at 6pm order from our phones at out table. Drinks came almost immediately and entree not far behind. We were served our delicious meals before 6.30 and out by 7.

Great environment, friendly customer service, fast and amazing food. Can't go wrong.

Had the greatest day - staff could not have been more helpful or attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious (and there was certainly plenty). Thumbs up Aussie!
